Hello cryptotalk enthusiasts! I am writing this topic, to acknowledge everyone with the ongoing scams on the forum. It has been a headache for all us seeing such meaningless/ paraphrased content in the forum, and many users are using such paraphrasing tools to bypass plagiarism or to cheat the system. So, the topic is mainly focused on how we can detect paraphrased contents and report it to moderators. First you need to know what is paraphrasing and how it is different from plagiarism? Paraphrasing is a technique in writing in which a writer modifies the words and express it similarly without depreciating someone's facts or opinion. However, Plagiarism is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent. Well the answer is, many people are using online paraphrasing tool and publishing garbage contents with excessive modification which are totally meaningless and has low quality texts. Even the publishers doesn't know what sense their posts really make or what value it holds in the forum. They are just here using random word replacer tool to spam, and validate their garbage publications and avoiding plagiarism with such paraphrasing tools. For detecting paraphrased contents, manual verification on the suspected post can be done. For example: A paraphrased text may contain meaningless words or out of the context(irrelevant) words in it. We just have to notice such posts and report them to moderators for violating the forum rules. Furthermore, we can detect paraphrased content by searching for the specific term or words that are not relevant to the forum, like discussion board, paintings, human being, Amateur, Pocket, Substance and many more. Please refer to the following search terms in the forum, The paraphrasing tools often replace these words. The bold texts are the actual search terms to detect paraphrased contents. 1. forum => discussion board 2. work => paintings 3. wallet => pocket 4. risk => danger 5. people => human being 6. newbie => amateur 7. content => substance 8. near => approximately 9. old => ancient 10. discussion => gathering 11. talk token => speak token 12. risk => danger Some evidences of paraphrasing contents(Screenshots): Note: You can also search for the specific word i.e. bold texts as your search query. Please, try with other search terms, and if you find something suspicious please report it to the forum moderators. In this way we can track paraphrased contents and report them to moderators to keep our forum clean and free from spams.
