Maybe, but since you announced yourself on numerous forums about a month ago you have gained about 75 more users on your video platform. Some appear to be heavily spamming it trying to upload as many <60 second videos.

I've been following this thread, as I mentioned this project is drawing a lot more interest than others on the forum so I feel there must be some merit to it.  I have read wild accusations here of ads for dark web content on the DYITube site but I have not seen evidence of that and it does seem to be an irresponsible accusation, but I have checked out the site and as this person mentioned there are a lot of videos that look like they're there for no other reason than to "game the system", i.e. posting short non-original content of no value plus there are violent street fighting videos of the kind you would see on Ebaum's World or Worldstar Hip Hop sites. Hardly family-friendly.

As for opposition, you dont often see anyone taking on the giant YouTube. As for mining, you can certainly get help on this forum under the mining section if you have questions.

    🙂

That's not the context that you talked of opposition.  This is what you said in a previous post:

This "flaw" as you call it was an outright attack by our opponents in an attempt to stop us from succeeding.

You were talking about ASIC miners buying coins being an "attack"and the miners being "opponents", i.e. opposing you as opposition.  I may be a newbie at all this but this makes no sense to me.  You started a launch and offered coins (forgive me if I'm not using the correct terminologies).  Someone bought them, a lot of them.  You called them opponents and said they were attacking you.  My point was that I don't see any other coin producers here talking in those terms.

Anyway if you're proceeding with a new launch, I wish you well.

  3. I have been following this thread because the project seems to generate a lot more interest than others in the forum.  I'm trying to wrap my head around some of the language though, Tony.    An ASIC miner bought up all the coins or tokens in one big swoop and you didn't have systems in place to prevent that and you call that an "attack."  How is buying the product yuo are offering an attack?  Then you're talking about "opposition".  I don't see any other people here offering coins talking about being opposed or in competition with other coin producers.  So many coins out there but the competition is not personal.

  4. What's this?  Here I was all excited to see what transpires on a launch day and it's another roadblock!  Shouldn't you have some kind of fail-safe installed to prevent that kind of mining?  Doesn't seem very fair to others who joined in good faith.  This project is generating more buzz than any other one on the forum yet it keeps stumbling out of the starting gate.  What gives, Tony?

Wow, sorry, I did not get any notifications on this page since Thursday. Now I have a lot of catching up to do.

I founded DIY Tube Video Community back in Nov 2017 so we have been around a while. We developed a rock solid platform first and then started on the blockchain. This should tell people we mean business.

Thank you for responding.  I thought maybe you flew the coop or something.  Can you expound on what you mean by "rock solid platform"?  As I said I'm still new at this, looking at different coin options.  I'm not much for making videos and I don't want to cut/paste others' work, that wouldn't be ethical.

Let him go,   a Google search  of him brings up more red flags than you can imagine.

Who are you referring to, the OP?  I don't know his name, what kind of red flags are you talking about?  Is that why he was targeted by spammers?

  7. Wait, so this launch thing didn't happen?  This is why I'm very wary and cautious about diving into all this crypto coin stuff.  I have a lot to learn before I go throwing money around here and there.  Anyway I will check back in to see if it goes down next week.  This thread had my interest because it looked to have so much more activity than other threads.  I will go back thru the forum and see what else I can learn, cheers.
