  1. I don't foresee another airdrop, although they tried to extend the original one to some addresses that weren't qualified before because they were by proxy (that failed).

What would have helped more would be to extend the liquidity rewards, which expired WAY too fast.  I realized I was earning neither trade fees nor liquidity bonuses after the 60 days expired and I didn't withdraw right away.  I actually dumped almost all of my liquidity and am doing other things with it now.

  2. I'd go so far as to say the crypto world could take off into the stratosphere with ONLY stablecoins, if there is sufficient adoption.

The average person don't want crypto as an investment (except when super-fast gains make the news).  We'd all benefit from digital money run on the blockchain so we can be our own bank.

The problem is,  I'll never go into a store and spend btc or eth because either 1) it could go up in price tomorrow or 2) it might drop in value right before I spend it and now I'm checking crypto prices before buying something.  I'd rather know that I'm paying a stable price.

  3. Fast forward, while I still prefer USDC I've found that USDT is accepted for a lot more pairs and margin work (e.g. futures).  So more of my stablecoins are in USDT than before.  I certainly hope I haven't taken too big of a risk chasing the higher returns.

Ostensibly USDT and USDC are the same, the only concern is if there's a black swan event and USDT has a major problem that leads to price fluctuation or inability to redeem.

  4. Please be VERY careful - there have been quite a few fake UNI second airdrop scams.  Everyone is thinking about UNI after that drop so it's an easy string to pull.  I can guarantee that if UNI does distribute anything else it will not be by a Telegram bot, in a forum, on a random website or anything else.  It would be seen on the Uniswap website, and news would be covering the VOTE that has to occur with UNI governance.  Do your due diligence when you hear of something new...

  5. 7 days seems like such a short window to work with the USDT winnings, but at least the NMX I've won will be mine to keep and exchange once trading opens next year.

The fun thing about these competitions is that I'm learning different techniques (or finding out what doesn't work well for me).  I don't think I'd use all of these same techniques with real money, but it's a good chance to learn.

  6. Without specifics stated in the post, the most likely scenario is user error.  Perhaps the app memory was cleared and the user created a new wallet.  Perhaps it switched which generated address it was looking at (that's actually rather complicated and apps don't let you browse through all of your generated addresses).

The first place to look is at the blockchain explorer to see if the coins actually moved.  If the address in the app shows that it never had coins, that's a clear indicator that it's not showing you the right address and can help with what to look into next.

  7. eToro is a big name in the copy trader space, with profiles and such for celebs.  The problem is that you won't know how each trader performs in the current market until it's too late.  Past gains don't mean future gains...

But the problem here is not rolling those few rolls to keep up with the investbox, the problem is addiction, once you get addicted it is not a case of rolling 10 rolls to keep up with the investbox anymore.

I don't really have that problem luckily, especially since the Yobit dice UI is really bad and I just want to get it done and get out.

  9. While every exchange would enjoy being at Binance's level of success, there's plenty of room to be successful without taking over the entire market. Actually, I don't even use Binance but use a few others that have the features I need.

One thing that's holding me back here is that there don't appear to be limit orders in the tournament.  There are stop loss and such, but unless things are just named differently than I'm used to it seems like an odd thing to remove.  Not that I'm a sophisticated trader, but I do make extensive use of limit orders.

  10. The other investbox option that seems too good to be true was WATER, but the value of that decimated after I bought and put into investBox so I'm not super confident about holding things even for 1-3% daily interest.

I keep my dice in there though, they haven't dropped in value much over this time.

  11. It looks like more traders are joining the competition than before, some are pretty good.  I'm generally in the bottom quarter nowadays 😄

One good thing about doing this competition is you get to see how the exchange performs; there have been a few times where it appeared to be down ("insufficient liquidity" to trade anything) which is concerning.

It looks like we're still 9months from the NMX tokens having an exchangeable value so I'll be holding on to my winnings until then, and will probably exchange it and keep that value on the exchange to trade with real money.  I'm not convince to jump over for my main trading from KuCoin yet, but it might keep my attention.

  12. To recap, if a token is frozen you can't sell it, transfer it, or do *anything* unless the token owner allows it.  I see this as a red flag, and would definitely not put any money into it (other than the ETH gas you probably lost finding out the token was frozen :D)

  13. I think I needed a few DOGE for something so I converted some of my DICE, but most of it I put into the investbox and it's a pretty good option for DICE.  It's not super-valuable right now and may never be...  but we all got some for free so you can't complain too much.

personally, I'm invest in Link, it is top 10 altcoin, and can make x2 profit, i hold since the breakout at 48k sats, it is low risk in spot market, with a tight stoploss, I'm also planning to invest in ETH to wait for ETH2.0 and i believe that the price will surge if they announce it.

I can see ETH being good for beginners, but LINK has doubled in a month. It could double again or crash.  Hard for newbies to know which direction, which means it's not necessarily good for people when starting out.

Yes.  I just hadn't realized that this was *possible* before.  It's easy to see tokens as a dumb object to pass around, but the logic built into the token can make it do unexpected things.  Possibly devious things, so we have to be careful!

Probably a great strategy as this way you are risking money you've earned on your free-time. While it is real money it is still something that we can afford to lose. I think that defi lately is giving too many good opportunities, I will try to make an article on a few products.

I think the initial Defi bubble popped a little when Compound adjusted their rates.  Instead of selling my BAT I went to earn 27% like I had just seen, only to find it was down to abysmal levels in a lot of places 😂

Now that the initial gold rush is done, it's time to understand how it really works so I'm sure if you write an article it will be well read.
