Let's talk about unspendable 20 XRP.

This is my first time i bought XRP and send them to my wallet, but then i wanted to move them to another wallet and i could not move all of them, they said that 20 coins were undependable, like forever undependable, anybody tell me why  is this?

Some wallets have minimum number of transactions, or limiting balance threshold for specific coins.  Since your 20 XRP maynot exceed the mimium withdrawal threshold, so you were not able to withdraw until you cross the minimum threshold as set by the wallet. So, please make sure you deposit the required amount and try for the withdrawal again, maybe this could help!

In order for you to withdraw you need to get more of this currency. The same thing happened to me when I bought some of this currency, as I was unable to withdraw it from the platform until I bought more and managed to reach the minimum withdrawal

This is the first time where I heard about a such problem like you! I have already did many withdrawals with Ripple XRP from Yobit website exchange to others website exchange and wallet never countered a problem, did you that in Yobit?

20 ripple is not big enough, in fact it is too small, the value of it is only $ 2, this is not enough to be minimum for trading. 20 ripple is small value so hold it temporarily.

Where are you withdrawing that from? Does the place have a minimum withdraw limit? Can you share the screenshot so we can see exactly what the error message is?

It is not an error, the XRP's blockchain requires that 20 xrp t stay in the wallet, for what reasons? i have no idea.

So it's a technical issue to prevent spam on the blockchain, you can withdraw them all but before that you have to deposit some more xrp until you have enough wo withdraw (over the withdraw limit).

Exactly, but i wonder why would anyone try to spam the blockchain, it is insane, i real hate them for that, despite my original hate for them for been centralized.

Probably for some sort of attack technique of hackers where you explore the vulnerabilities of the blockchain, i am not tech savvy enough and don't know enough about Ripple's tech either to go to details. Ripple has a lot of haters and there's a change to get lot of money if you know when to short it just like the attack like in "DAO" took ETH down instantly back in time, hacker was probably shorting it as well.

Probably or they just wanna take control as any centralized project is supposed to do, but if ripple price become so high, i think they will have to reduce the amount from 20 coins to lower, no one would agree having 20 or more dollars stuck in the wallet doing nothing.

Ripple is still yet at an infant level of having crypto value that 20xrp would be spendable, I currently 20xrp is even actually less to serve as a transaction fee when sending withdrawing, from your crtpto assets wallet. But probably we don't know in future it might Worth alot

hmm, it's possible that your 20 XRP is having a wallet system error or maybe 20 XRP is not enough to meet the minimum value because 20 XRP is only equivalent to $ 2. XRP is best kept in a wallet. It is of little value.

unfortunately and a feature of the xrp wallets that I don't like either ask for a guarantee of 20 xrp to be able to handle the xrp, I think those 20 are lost forever does not seem fair to me...

You may have acquired these currencies from an unreal location and they are fake or you are transferring the amount from a platform that places a withdrawal limit and the amount you own is less than the withdrawal costs and the limit

It is not therefore much and I even dont analogous XRP, verve in some other cryptocurrency similar BTC or ETH you will last easily settle fee and you can transfer even 1 satoshi if you want. Also in XRP you has to burn that fees - they are not send to miners therefore at one time slow deployment will no XRP

It is not a fee, it is just a balance that is undependable and it is only done once unless you change the wallet.

Looks to be like a fee for the wallet, or a  payment for using their wallet, that is insane by the way 3 bucks is a lot.

Yah you could call it that some sort of a fee, wherever it is, this is the one of the reasons I hate centralization.

Such requirement is also on XLM i just figured and XLM is decentralized, only on XLM is much smaller value of coins that are unspendable.

Oh so this is a thing huh! i thought it is on XRP because it is centralized, now i see it is a common thing for some coins whether centralized or decentralized.

So i just found out that ripple's price used to be $4.8 from another topic, i want to know how much was the unspendable 20 xrp at that time, was it still 20 or lower?

Here is what i found after googled it they say; "The 20 XRP fee structure is enforced on the Ripple blockchain to make it an anti-spam ledger where people don't unnecessary open wallets".

It is reasonable but still i hate it.
