Not just for long term but also for short term. This chart is only a guide but like what i've said it is not accurate as price can go against that depending on the demands of every investors its will only shows us the possible moves.

I think that these charts are very helpful to beginner traders and also for experienced traders because they can see other techniques of analyzing the pas prices of the crypto currencies. However i also think that these may not be entirely accurate and people cannot solely rely on this (as you have said in this topic and that a fair portion of your own research is needed to accompany the visuals that are displayed in this post.
