Great post. I also think like this, there is no assurances, but there are higher and lower probabilities, and the only thing you can do is to try to turn the odds as much on your favour as possible... loosing is part of the game and you cannot easily doubt your system...

When we keep changing our own rules to go after the supposed profit based on what happened on that moment, we'll be opening the door to chaos... and this will translate into heavy loss 99% of the times
