i think mining can be profitable, even in those days. you need just a good equipment a low electricity fees, so you need to live in specific countries. 

for example, in my country even if i have the latest ASIC i could not mine because i pay a lot of fees in electricity

They are absolutely right, for that you need one of the best computer and indeed more electric. You can't do that alone in, by reason of these problems, mining is not profitable for us.

I never doing mining cryptocurrency in my real life. First time i trying only cloud mining, but i am lucky out soon before they going scam. I still don't get how the miner get profit, because i already google many people choose to selling their mining rig. Many people say that is not profitable. Yeah i think that is right after i calculate with mining calculator in internet, if we mining on top coins, that is now way to get profit. Except your electricity is really cheap or zero cost. Also if you create your ASIC miner by yourself.
