If bitcoin falls in price, all cryptocurrencies, altcoins, tokens, everything goes to the floor, they bleed a lot and they can even die, until BTC has no recovery, those coins will die.

so many people get panicked easily when btc price is down. so people sell and dump altcoins into BTC, then sell BTC into FIAT. so, when BTC is dumped, almost a whole of crypto market is dumped too.

The golden rule in this is don't get dependent on it.  Once you risked yourself to bitcoin it can result to different outcomes. Take gambling as an example, at first you say to yourself you will just give it a try and then suddenly, boom, you're addicted to it and once you failed or the payer it, will start destroying your life. Once bitcoin failed, everyone dependent on it will vanished.

Bitcoin may be replaced by a future coin. But that does not mean that cryptocurrencies will fail. Blockchain technology is the technology of the future and cryptocurrencies have applied very well Blockchain technology to solve many problems in the real world. Currently, I only see Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies becoming more and more popular and widely used.

We know big individuals and corporations have invested in Bitcoin and there are wallets hodling Bitcoins worth billions of dollars possible owned by this individuals or the corporations. Bitcoin falling which I believe you are referring to crashing is not happening.

I agree with you, if we talk about conventions, then naturally the answer is very simple and the first altcoins tied to the Bitcoin exchange rate will die. But personally, I doubt that the entire cryptocurrency will die.

For Bitcoin I don't think so...It is going good for more than 10 years.It never failed till now.But in 2017, a lot of people were making too many transactions so transaction time were going up to 3 days.

Its almost a period of a decent that Btc had passed and after survival of such long time now btc is vast adopted by the people around the globe which is good to see. Its price can goes down but if you have diversified your investment by analyzing the market trend then you might recover a little bit. Whereas  btc chances of failure might be very less.

If Bitcoin suddenly fails today? Companies might fall, people might kill themselves, but the world at large will still go on.

But if Bitcoin becomes THE world's main currency, and it suddenly fails in the future? Riots might erupt, people might kill each other, and the world as we know it might end.

So for me, if Bitcoin (I repeat, IF) ever fails, I'd rather have it fail slowly and gradually so everything can adjust themselves.

The cryptocurrency market is characterized by volatility and cyclicality. I see no problem that the price of bitcoin is falling. It is NOT the first time, nor the last time.

Yes, more or less altcoins were underlying into bitcoin currency. And in my opinion, if bitcoin fails to get on high again, I think those alts who depend on it will get fail too , and maybe at worst it will out of the in crypto market.

Nothing is too big to fail.

Bitcoin has the internet and the decentralization. That makes it hard to be destroyed.

But there quite some ways to make Bitcoin fail. Not easy, not cheap, but possible. But I don't want to give ideas to anyone.

I think we already have seen the bitcoin fails to break the high price before. We have so many experiences to see bitcoin cannot be able to increase, and it stays at a low price. But if the time comes, bitcoin will rise at the right time, and we will not expect that bitcoin can increases. I think many people still underestimate the power of bitcoin, and they doubt that bitcoin increase in a short time. Well, they need to wait to see the miracle of bitcoin because when the time arrives, the price will start the rally and will be able to hit the highest price.

If the rest of the cryptocurrencies will fall with Bitcoin, they will not fall because they are technically linked to Bitcoin, it will fall because Bitcoin is considered the standard in the cryptocurrency market and then the distrust will be generalized.

This is an interesting question but I am.also thinking, are we the only ones thinking this way? I mean like there are definitely people's and corporations with millions and billions Worth in there possessions, do dey worry the way we do or do they know this is not happening and don't worry about such?

If it does happen, then all investors are screwed but not likely I think.
