bitcoin What if Bitcoin fails?

I have always asked myself this question, what if BTC fails ? its the largest Crypto by market capitalization about 67% of the entire coin market, whenever it goes up all the other coins follow and if it goes down all the coins follow. The entire market depends on it... so i would to ask the question what happens if it fails.

Every new day bitcoin doesn't fail, adds at least 2 days to its lifespan. Bitcoin could fail in its early days, it very unlikely now. Bitcoin has been alive for more than 10 years. I can guarantee you it will be around at least 20 more years. What does that tell you? It already eliminated that possibility. Failure is not an option.

I don't see Bitcoin ever failing. the biggest financial institutions in the world are adding Crypto desks to their companies and they don't do anything on a whim. They are probably the ones holding down the price while they get their share of the pie.

Yeah, maybe there is possibility of Bitcoin failing just like a lot of crypto critic predicted. If it happens that it fails, Life goes on, I'll just count my loss and move on with life.

Bitcoin is already too big to fail. There are so many individuals and even institutions that have it in their best interest for bitcoin to stay afloat. I don't see how bitcoin can fail with a market cap of ~$200 billion. Bitcoin has the potential to change the world, and that has value.

in the near term I disagree, the reason is simple, why should it fail? and fail what do you mean?
because in my opinion bitcoin is at the peak of popular and wider adoption. whereas we know the public is fed up with the centralized bank system, and bitcoin was born to answer that,
then why should it fail?

It's necessary to clarify how low Bitcoin will fall?
If Bitcoin will fall about 2 times, then nothing special will happen.
Because experienced traders will continue to hold their coins, while unexperienced traders will begin to sell their coins, fearing to lose even more.
Most unexperienced traders will be at loss.
And if Bitcoin will fall Very Low, then everything won't be very good for everyone...
But this is only my personal opinion. I'm not an expert.

Bitcoin already fell from $20k to $3.5k and guess what, it raised again and reached to $11k and fell again

its something normal in current market, these fall and raises are necessary for those who want to earn money by trading

It can't fall practically as it's not controlled by any third party or single organization but the whole community, the miners, it's users control it so bitcoin to be failed, the whole community has to agree on it which is not likely to happen.

Same here, I always questioning my self that what will happen if this system will end. But being a developer i don't know such thing will happen. But this may happen someone ate all btc and in the end he goesaway after dumping the market then it will be a big craSH. But i think again even its a big crash more people will but and value become more high and then BTC will have power. So future is crypto. Its forcing me to remember the words of terminator which he told in movie that sky net will out of control... lol 😄

In my opinion Bitcoin will not fails because it is accepted in some big markets. In money countries Bitcoin is legal. According to coinmarketcap.com, Bitcoin has $149 billion market cap, with this huge market cap how bitcoin will fail.

If btc gonna fail? So btc also gonna success? No one can predict exactly what future brings, if that worst case happened, at least we must prepared and go back to conventional currency, money (fiat), gold, stocks. And don't buy all in crypto form, diversification needed.

it is possible that bitcoin falls then sell it before it happen :) you can safe some money and you can enjoy !

failed ? but at what level the BTC is still in balance sometimes it goes down after it goes up and if you do a lap back you will probably notice increases and decreases but generally it is very stable lately and do not forget we are the first engine that advances BTC.

If the coin was to fail that would have been happened in 2012 when the MT Gox exchange hack problem happened  and even on 2017 collapse but you can see even when the bitcoin price went as low as  $3000 it did not went zero and now it is bouncing back  Their is some technology if not no one would have accepted and some country wont be getting worried, so they just ban its uses.

I'm not rooting for bitcoin to fail, I'm merely saying people are asking the wrong questions about bitcoin,  im investing in it because because I see a future governed digitally without cash so the real question that people should be asking is...how long its going to take for banks and governments to get on board?

It's a good question any sane person would think of this at one point in there crypto Life but this is unlikely as many new innovations of the past some people thought they will fail too, I hope it's same for crypto even though yours is a question rather than a prediction but am hoping crypto is here to stay.

It is not a must to fall. Maybe a new altcoins season begins. On bitcoin decreases, investors usually enter into altcoins, which results in an appreciation of them.

It is not mandatory to drop altcoins with Bitcoin. When strong bitcoin grows, altcoins decrease. Maybe a new altcoins season begins. On bitcoin decreases, investors usually enter into altcoins, which results in an appreciation of them.
