In myetherwallet the no.1 thing you have to do is to make sure that the keys for the wallet are store and keep safe , make sure your putting your wallet erc20 not the keys when joining airdrops

Local wallets same thing secure and backup local wallet incase your pc breaks or damage, always keep in external or somewhere safe

Exchange wallets though not accepted in airdrops securing your exchange by putting lots of securities to make it safe, this is not recommended to keepnyour tokens but sometimes we have no choice, so always enable security features and remember also to backup the authenticator code

2 fa , private key, strong password, email notification, if you still afraid of someone hack it, try keep all in one folder ,and also give password on that folder. Don't forget use strong antivirus, update your computer defender security.  I guess suggestion above is more than enough, as long as only you can access it, so don't allow or let other people to accessed it.

Do you or anyone else know any other wallet that use 2FA accept of Electrum. As I know only the last has such feature which sure increases the security, but I would like to have it on some mobile wallet.

I hodl my bitcoins and do not need them daily. Thats why i use paperwallets to save my coins. I can use them if i want to. Another good option is a hardware wallet but i am afraid of getting it damaged. I can print my paperwallet how often i want to print, so i minimized the risk of damaged papers and loosing my coins.

What to protect your account on the exchange is required to put 2fa protection and if you can confirm the entry and withdrawal via mail. Of course, if you use MEW or a wallet cold on a PC then you need to keep your private keys, keystore file and seeds and keep this information on a notepad and on flash drives

Right, this is the essential safety factor. I also want to add, if you use 2FA on your Google email, don't forget to save your security code. This code is useful if you forget to bring or lose your smartphone.

We have to make secure for our MEW. Before this, i ever had MEW and accidentally shared my private key then my coin was lost, how poor i am. 

But now i already know how to secure my etherwallet. Thanks for this useful information.

For securing a wallet, you need to use multiple 2fas and complex passwords with lots of special characters (remembering them is important too). The best 2fa is authentications applications like Google Authenticator. Those Authenticators are almost impossible to hack!

If you are using any of the good platform exchange you need to activate your 2FA, then save your password, also the secret key if ever your gong to have a problem with your 2FA, now if you are using any wallet like MEW, of course you need to save your Private key, password on you keystore file on documents, or put it in your USB as well is a very good thing to do also.

The title says secure your wallets, but you did not mentioned how to secure them,

Example Myetherewallet.com  as you did not mentioned how to backup the recover file. Yep some people pasted keys in bounties and airdrops sometimes as they were new to Bounties.

There should be an authentication for Myetherwallet, but the developer never doing it.

Wallets get stolen and lost all the time in the crypto world. It's a really common occurrence, but that shouldn't stop you from becoming part of the community. Just keep your passwords and keys in a safe place. I keep mine in..... I can't tell you that, but it is in a safe place. Find a safe or a deposit box at a bank would be a good place. You could even bury your passwords in the backyard. No one would ever find them there.

Nice article mate 🙂 those sure are nice ways to help protect yourself. What i do in addition to those is i use a PC entirely dedicted just only for cryptocurrency realated purposes. I do not open any kind of sites on that pc excpey for the most trusted crypto related sites. Also i never installl any kinds of softwares on it. this way i can avoid getting hacked. i have been doing that for 3 or 4 years and thus sofar i never have been hacked
