Which one do you choose for long-term investment in bitcoin or gold? Give me the reason!

        Yeah brother if i have the to choose between Gold and BTC i will definitely take GOLD because it's a material that can be touched, and for me i believe only in what i can see it in real life, BTC is good acctually i'm in love with it, but i'm not sure about it, maybe one day USA close the cyber net and we all find our selves without internet, what we will do with the BTC in our wallet?   ☘️

I think for long term investment bitcoin is very profitable because the price of gold is very strable and we can not gain the high profits in gold.

If you're not afraid of taking risk, then you should choose bitcoin. You can actually earn high profit in bitcoin compare to gold but it's risky than investing in gold. If you want to have stable profit, then go for gold. As for me, I would invest in both bitcoin and gold, only if I have enough funds.

If I’m not mistaken, except as jewelry, gold is irreplaceably used in some details of various technological designs. But I think in the future people will be able to come up with technologies that will not need this metal.
Therefore, for the long term, I would invest in cryptocurrency.

I am obviously going for bitcoin. Bitcoin has a limited supply and the demand will be crip of. That is why I invest in bitcoin

Yup. The price of bitcoin more volatility than gold. If buy bitcoin we can get much profit than buy a gold. Because gold is more stable than bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the best and good for investment which is profitable unlike gold, gold also is profitable but not as big as bitcoin. Bitcoin is a bigger potential in investing business in a short of time.

For me, bitcoin is the good investment for holding because if you have a 1 btc just an example, you can be millionaire soon but in gold as of now the value of gold is going down not like the past.

I respect your choice.  Gold investment is indeed safer because the risk is smaller than bitcoin.

both is best but if a person want to invest in gold then they need to wait more for their profit than bitcoin.

I hold bitcoin. If you check history of bitcoin you will see that how much btc price increased. If you compare btc price with gold you can see how much btc price increase.

well i will definitely choose bitcoin because it’s price is as what you said is fluctuating. it can increase its price higher and i am in for that opportunity. unlike gold, its price is steady.

i choose bitcoin because if i want to don't tell anybody about my money then i can do it... if i buy so much gold then my family member or some familiar member also know about this and if i buy bitocoin then no one know about my money and bitcoin is more safe to gold.. gold will stolen by someone but no one can easily hack or stole my bitcoin.. and if i can earn more then i can do with bitcoin but gold don't give me this...

I chose bitcoin too for investment over gold. Gold goes up a long time and to get profit from gold is very difficult because the price is long moving. If bitcoin prices are very volatile and I like it, this is very profitable.

As a pseudo thinker, if I'm supposed to have some amount, I will do 50 / 50 with bitcoin and gold. Bitcoin sucks for now. Gold may lead to bit of rise in price for the next 1 year. Both are profitable at this time. The scenario may change in 3rd quarter of 2020.

for sure i will absolutely choose investing in bitcoin. considering the fact that its price is volatile and you can wait for it to pumped up. while in gold, the price of it is just steady and can changer or become lesser throughout the time.

If you ask me, My choice form long term holding/investment was Gold, Why? Gold was proved the strongest asset for a hundred years while Bitcoin it's good for long term too but Gold was better, Bitcoin was more suitable for short or mid investment or daily trading, etc.

For long-term investment, I prefer gold, flukutuasi bitcoin is very high and also we do not know how bitcoin in the future. The risk to bitcoin in my opinion is too high, therefore I prefer bitcoin to trade. The choice of a long-term investment depends on the investors' criteria too.

I'll give my general gist and opinion about the pros and cons of each one as an investment:

Bitcoin

Pros:

1. Great for day traders brcause of volatility.

2. Has potential to grow since digital age is fast approaching.

Cons:

1. Since it is volatile, price could crash to fatal levels if successive negative news would hurt Bitcoin. You need to be almost always aware.

2. If you do not believe in it as the future, then long-term holding might not be for you.

 

Gold

Pros:

1. Has been tested by time, used by thousands of years and continues to have value because of its scarcity and real-life applications such as electronics.

2. Backed by the government, which would probably stay there for more centuries. Unless we decide to live in lawless society.

Cons:

1. Low volatility means fewer profit for day traders, but good for long term investors, that is if gold would not be replaced (which is most likely the situation).

This is an interesting one. I believe one day there will be a crypto currency backed by gold. I keep a few crypto that I think could be one of those and that will last the course of time. And I also keep some gold because if ones worth a lot then so is the other. Not a lot. Not even thousands now. Just enough to make myself a nice future if it all went crazy again and we saw huge rises.

If I have money and you ask what choice I chose for the long term investment I will certainly choose the gold for sure. I really like bitcoin but I think bitcoin is too violatile to be stored as a long-term asset which is certainly different from gold which is the most powerful and stable asset in the world today, Bitcoin is good for mid term and not really good for long term especially if you want safe asset when a crisis occurs.
