I personally do not know what is going to happen to the altcoins but I think that they are actually dependent into the price of bitcoin so that would mean as soon as the halving is going to happen there is a possibility that the altcoins' prices are going to go up.

altcoins market performance is well during first two weeks of January 2020.when btc is on 9000$ now still market in good mood so bitcoin is on 8400$ .

yes this can happen because the price of the  btc is going down so it is possible that the other coin can take the place of the btc. btc is good enough but i think that if in the mid of 2020 btc does not rise than alt coin can take it place.

There are a lot of altcoins (Alternative coins), they cannot just die because bitcoin's value goes up. They are not very dependent to bitcoin, however ofcourse, btc has a significant effect on some altcoins.

Yeah like maybe 100 per buy regarding bitcoin and probably 10000 eth per purchase too. But I disagree that they accumulate other coins because it is not very useful to manipulate their value.

WellI think altcoin incline with btc as btc decrease altcoin as well msu decrease but it's normal we know that crypto is volatile so we must have a patient because all things happen for a reason.

Altcoins have already started rising 2 days ago. They have gone up more than bitcoin. Check altcoin prices in Yobit and you will see that some of them have increased more than ten percent. ETC is a great example. There is an interesting competition between LTC and ETH in terms of price rise. ETH even beat BTC in trading volume for some moments! But XRP still can't reach $0.25 no matter how other altcoins have changed.
