I think ethereum is going to the moon but maybe not this year, although I know it's showing good signs, I hope it gets $ 400. I don't dare to hope for a higher number because I know I shouldn't dream

Yes maybe is this drop because of virus but that dont have any connection with traders that dont trade.

Price of cryptocurrency drop and I look on this like discount on cryptocurrency price, because for example BTC have reason that this year have good movemant (up/halving) or for example ETH (POS, probably this year) and price still drop what that can tell you (discount).

Yes this virus changed thing and a lot of people sell their cryptocurrency but we will see what will happen when halving come and which price will be.

Yes crypcurrency market is down but if POS is this year that will big a big news for ETH.

You can see that half members thing that will go higher than ATH and half members thing that will not, 

however currently price is very low and some people buy a lot higher ETH which mean that this is discount price.

I will share some details in percentages how much ETH price increased from the previous year:

1 Day / +5.9%

1 Week / +27%

1 Month / +78%

1 Year / +116% 

This is for price in USD market.

But if we look on BTC/ETH market we can see that ETH is recovering there too, I will share details in percentages too:

1 Day / +5.9%

1 Week / +18%

1 Month / +46%

1 Year / -24%

Like you can see that before one year BTC/ETH price was for 24% more higher which is around 0.038 BTC and currently ETH price is around 0.025 BTC which is not a lot lower than last year. 

 

And main thing which all ETH holders expect is ETH POS (Proof Of Stake), and that can be a really good reason that ETH (like I write in tittle) go To The Moon. 

If we compare ETH with BTC for 7 days chart we can see that BTC jump around +8% but ETH jump around +27% which is over x3 than BTC.

With increased use of ERC-20 wallets by majority of the crypto users.. Etherium maybe the next largest crypto currency after Bitcoin. People are preferring ERC wallets over exchange wallets . Etherium all the way,more power.

Halving is for Bitcoin not for Ethereum, and it's not "V2" than 2.0 or POS.

Ethereum will not have halving.

Do you have some other reason because you think that will ETH price go higher or you just write what others write?

Ethereum has the ability to go above 1000$ if there is a huge bull run soon, this will enable it to rally and make a good profits for the holders

You didn't mention any time or date for the vote. If you are talking about 2020, I have to say no. This is not the year that ETH can reach or beat its ATH. My own prediction for ETH will be something around $500 but online predictions may state even lower numbers. ETH sometimes rises faster than bitcoin but it is not the fastest growing altcoin on the market. I think BCH and LTC can rise even more than ETH. The Proof of Stake date of Ethereum is not still known. Some believe it may happen between 2020 and 2021.

well personally any discussion relating to eth pumping it way up to the moon, as in going to the top of the crypto would really rely on the price of bitcoin as it has always done even in the very past. 

The price of eth is also influenced by btc.

Of course that is "live" price, when someone buy price go up when someone sell price go down. 

Maybe, maybe not because anything can happen and Bitcoin halving is approaching (less than month) and that will for sure affect on price and I think that there are no time for some more big drop.

But in any case it's good to get some coins when price is down.

Indeed, as you above mentioned it is something chain reaction between BTC and altcoins. When price of BTC will get up, altcoins are doing it same, that means altcoins like ETH by selling BTC.
