I think gold is still there and it is hard to be replaced with anything at least now cause all the central banks in the world deal with gold 
but also Bitcoin in just 10 years did what the gold did in hundreds of years so it is like a competition between them 
no one knows who will win at the end

Gold and Bitcoin can be works as one!  And actually this is already happening now many people use this to buy gold using bitcoin. And i think this will have big impact in bitcoin price.

I really hope gold and crypto could work together, so in the future we won't have to see another discussion about which one to pick, and etc etc. Gold and bitcoin is different, but popular. Both are valuable. So, I don't think I can't only choose one.

I think both are different.  Because, the price of gold is stable and its price is fairly dependent.  Crypto, on the other hand, is an electric currency that changes to a pump or dump several times an hour.  The price of gold is very low and although it may increase somewhat in the fun, the crypto sometimes increases so much that it is unimaginable.  So many are moving towards crypto currencies.

Gold and crypto are different to each other in terms of their value and belongings in this industry. Crypto are digitalize and more on investing and has unstable value and volatile  compare to gold that has stable value. They are same on terms of they are both asset.

I think that the coins claiming to be backed by gold are having fake claims. It would be extremely hard for these random indivuduals with questionable credentials having this fortune and using it just to back a cryptocurrency. 

Anyway, gold has it's purpose and it is quite different from Bitcoin. Bitcoin should first grow and become widely adopted as a method of transactions, with low fees and high speeds. So it needs to scale. If it does not, then it won't become a store of value. People will only trust gold if Bitcoin isn't used for anything else.

I agree with you, and finding new currencies in the market that are backed by gold will attract investors because they will feel safe. Cryptocurrencies are subject to severe price fluctuations between ups and downs.
