It's a great platform and also a very dangerous and scary place if you don't know how to protect yourselves while using telegram chatting app. Because there are a lot of people who will be trying to scam, steal or do something bad to you by tricking you or something.

That is right telegram is being use for the activities in crypto currencies but also have a lot of scammer there that is why we should always be careful and have enough knowledge in the activity we engage in. Ending the telegram because of child pornography will be hard to stop due to that the government of US came up with this and for the betterment for the society to end the telegram.

I agree, there must be and there could be some other way or ways to lessen, or if possible, stop child pornography without shutting down the Telegram.  Probably US government should try to encourage or force the developers of Telegram to make some actions regarding the issue. If they did not take any actions, probably that will be reasonable to just shutdown the app. 
It is still good to use telegram now because it really is helpful for a lot of people to have access on cryptocurrencies' chats, groups, pages, or bots. Shutting down telegram probably will hurt crypto-promotions very bad.

This has to do with more of legal things between telegram and the US government. The US government can not just shut it down like than but through Court orders .

this is very sad. like most of the things when someone does bad things who pay is the whole community and not only who caused that. anyway the us government are doing this for a right cause
