A month or so ago on Twitter and Telegram there was a wholesome bloke (or a bunch of wholesome blokes) known as War On Rugs. Initially, this bloke (I use m. sing. for short) has been doing a very interesting thing: he tried to "audit" BSC shitfarms to identify possible rug pulls. I don't know how professional his research was, but he clearly had more time and knowledge than me to dyor various shit. His Telegram channel was rather funny and helpful, actually.

Everything had been just fine until the guy run into Safemoon. I agree that Safemoon might well be yet another scam and rugpull. But the guy's attitude towards Safemoon became kinda obsession. Since then "The Safemoon war" started and the guy's every other message was about what a scammy moron Safemoon is. The guy definitely had something personal about Safemoon. Dyoring other shitfarms was forgotten, Safemoon became the only shittiest shit of all.

It was like that until Mr. Vitalik dumped the hyped canine shit on the heads of hyped canine lovers. It seems, the WoR guy was pretty deep in the canine and Mr. Vitalik fucked him pretty deep. Alternatively, at that point the WoR guy might start his elaborated plan.

The guy accused Mr. Vitalik of duping "the innocent investors" who managed to get balls deep into the hyped canine. Then the guy launched his own token RETH ("Rekt ETH") and a BSC shitfarm -- with the purpose to dump ETH and to cruelly revenge Mr. Vitalik this way. The token and the farm became rather popular among the guy's followers.

Then War on Rugs pulled the rug.

Funny, yeah?

"So why do you tell us all this shit?", you might ask.

WTF "an innocent investor" is, actually??

Well, I can believe that there're people who are in crypto "for the tech" mostly. A little community of math wonderboys, who we can hardly find on Telegram or Twitter (and if we do, we can hardly understand what they're talking about, anyway).

There's a community of "developers" who monetize their math and coding skills with crypto, they range from small "gig" freelancers to big start-upers. They may be here "for the tech", but clearly not "for the tech" only. They don't overlook "tokenomics", no way.

There're other bunches of wholesome blokes in crypto too. The cold-blooded traders who find it more profitable to sail the unregulated crypto-seas. Cynical "whales" who manipulate the herds and won't hesitate for a second to slaughter them all for profit. Drug pushers, cybercriminals, Bitmain and gov-sponsored miners. Corrupted Youtube shillers. Various jackasses, fraudsters, and scammers. Braindead dumbasses who readily jump into any hyped shit. Overconfident shrimps who consider themselves the outsmartest. Shortly, there're the flocks of all feathers to join, except the one -- "the innocent investors"...

Here it's kinda hard to be an innocent investor and not to get fucked pretty quickly along the way.

A masternode is full node or a wallet which contains a copy of the ledger in real-time. They incentivize node operators to perform the core consensus functions of running a blockchain. Blockchains can typically be broken down into three types: Proof of work, proof of stake, and a blend of the two. These blockchains need a system for processing transactions which enables the blockchain to function. However, masternodes are substantially different than the functionality of regular node.

Some of the unique features that make up master nodes include:

  • providing a treasury system for crypto
  • keeping transactions private
  • enabling instantaneous transactions
  • enabling governance and voting Masternodes(MN)

Mining pools usually take up most of the resources through their mining activities. This reduction in full nodes impacts the efficient working of a blockchain, as it may lead to longer transaction processing times and network congestion. Master nodes attempt to solve the problem by acting as full nodes, and their operators are financially rewarded, similar to miners in a proof-of-work system. They operate on a collateral-based system to ensure that they provide genuine services as a backbone to the blockchain network, and hence are also known as “bonded validator systems.”

So, how to run a masternode?

Running a Masternode

Masternodes are great because they provide you with the benefit of earning guaranteed coins in addition to the potential upside of the coin value. Masternodes can be run by anyone, but there are barriers to entry which have been put in place to prevent fraud or wrong-doing. The first requirement is to put up collateral —Forcing operators to have a direct stake, a stake that they can lose if cheating occurs. This serves as a self-policing measure which keeps fraud to a minimum. So how much collateral does it take? Here are some examples from various currencies: • Dash: 1,000 dash • PIVX: 10,000 PIVX

Additional things you’ll need to run a masternode include your own VPS or dedicated server, a dedicated IP address and enough storage space for saving the blockchain ledger. So how valuable is a masternodes for crypto investors? Well, Masternodes can be very beneficial for crypto investors because they are an on-going revenue source, earning them interest on their investment. How much someone can earn running a masternode varies from currency to currency. Some come with exclusive incentives, others pay by the week or the month. You really need to research them individually to determine which one is the best fit for your investment and ROI. You should also take a look at the currency from an overall standpoint. Be sure its one that you have faith in for the long-term. Making a large investment into a currency that’s here today and gone tomorrow is obviously something you should try to avoid. Focus on stability and ROI and you should be able to find one that fits both.

So how does one get started?

This will vary once again depending on the currency, but here is a basic checklist you can use as a guide since you’ll follow this to some extent regardless of which currency you select:

  • 1. Buy the amount of coins you need for collateral (be sure to buy a little extra to cover transactions fees)
  • 2. Install the wallet on your server
  • 3. Send your coins or tokens to your wallet
  • 4. Setup a node address in your wallet and transfer the coins to the node
  • 5. Setup the node.
  • 6. Once configured, you’re ready to start the server. At this point you’ll need the node daemon.
  • 7. You’re ready to rock and roll and begin earning coins off your masternode!

      Гонконгская комиссия по ценным бумагам и фьючерсам (SFC) дала зелёный свет для запуска первых в регионе спотовых биржевых фондов (ETF), привязанных к криптовалютам биткоин и Ethereum. Соответствующее разрешение получили три инвестиционные компании.   Одно из разрешений выдано ChinaAMC, которая является частью China Asset Management и сотрудничает с OSL Digital Securities Limited. Также лицензии на запуск криптовалютных ETF получили Harvest Global и Bosera International. Впрочем, конкретные сроки запуска фондов пока не объявлены. Важно отметить, что в материковом Китае криптовалютная торговля находится под строгим запретом с 2021 года из-за жёстких мер регулирования. Однако Гонконг активно стремится стать пионером в области спотовых криптовалютных ETF, предлагая инструменты для торговли биткоином и Ethereum. Пока что остаётся неизвестным, будут ли жители материковой части Китая иметь возможность инвестировать в эти фонды. Напомним, что в США недавно были одобрены первые биткоин-ETF, что вызвало ожидания аналогичного шага в отношении фондов на основе Ethereum. Подобные разрешения, как предполагается, способствуют дальнейшему росту популярности и стоимости криптовалют.
