I don't know why banks are trying to create cryptocurrencies. There are thousands already they can just use some from these we have. If they want something private to use then this will probably help to pay inside their bank and the branch all over the world but it won't mean they will be decentralized. There is no bank would accept using bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency without putting some conditions.. even if the cryptocurrencies projects have their special technologies and fast transactions with low fees but there are many thing about them we should keep in mind especially the "decentralized" issue! but of course the banks since a period planning how they would benefit from using cryptocurrencies and they are not blind to ignore these great technology which attracts more and more people by time.. let's wait and see what would happen with xrp cryptocurrency project then we can predict what would like the cryptocurrencies plans be in the near future!

I don't think that we should care what banks are doing. If they keep failing is because they still not understand Bitcoin and they are trying to make it work but under their control. I have no reason to care about banks anymore.

Crypto projects in banks always used to failed, I think for them to be successful they need to engage developers in blockchain technology. I think the best thing for banks is to adopt cryptocurrencies coin as form of payment.

I do not think commercial or even central banks having a cryptocurrency project will do any good to the society, the whole concept of having a bank is so "centralized" in nature, and I believe we need more of decentralised projects now than the opposite

There are some banks trying to create cryptocurrencies for some reasons of their own but I haven't heard of failures as this guy is saying, there was nothing about failed cryptocurrency from a bank in the news, so perhaps it was something else this guy wanted to write or was misinformed as usual.

Banks are doing their best but they won't beat cryptocurrencies. The decentralized nature of Bitcoin is unreachable by banks and perhaps they can't think of a way to create something better that will be centralized. Although governments still don't want decentralized systems and try to tame them.
