Lots of ICO projects die when their coins have been listed on the market, this is because many sellers are willing to sell the coins at cheap prices, sellers cannot think of holding the token until the price starts to stabilize, and of course things will make the developers are frustrated with this, if the impact of the drop in coin prices certainly the team will need funds to pump prices, many teams prefer to secure their money rather than pumping the price of their coins.

it's happen to a lot of ICO/IEO because every people invested in the project to get the Bonus and every project usually give you a high bonus up to 40% in the first week

Is the ICO that you joined open a bounty? If yes then its usually because of bounty participants that dump their coins on the exchange. It's also depends on the project itself.

Dumped when listing because they have so many discount price on pre ICO or whitelist investor, it can be dump by bounties participant or airdrop program

If the token start from the ico, once its  get listed in the market, the owner will do strategy to pump it first to get the attention of the investors to buy his token then once the owner see there is huge volume get in to his trap the owner will dump it at once to get his own profit.

Not the every owner of the project does this thing, only the shit coins owners does this practice as they might have not raised much in the ICO, good project hires market makers to make volume in the coin and make price stable.

Im not wondering if that happen todays investors are very different compare to the previous years they dont hold the tokens/coins they bought at ICO since they have hold a huge bonuses from the early part of an ICO what can we expect from it a dump only few investors will hold there token for sure most of it are after the profit. thats why we cant expect a massive price drop after it was listed.

Unfortunately, the time of the ICOs is over, which means that a large part of them are today vulgar scams or inconclusive projects.
The times when investing in projects like Ethereum made you a millionaire, no longer exist, passed and I do not think they will return...

Now most projects move to IEO, in addition to funds guaranteed by the exchanger when the IEO completes the token can be traded
But still, if the IEO exchanger has a small volume, the token might not growth

The very first reason I will tell bounty or distribution of free coins. Without bounty hunters, project may not have been successful but you know when there are a lot of token in the hand of bounty hunters who always look for dump, market will no way be in good position. Just look at mb8coin, it would be in a very good position if they wouldn't distribute a lot of coins.

Moreover, in some projects, DEV also dump coins behind the scene, most in shit projects.

Actually most of the ICO was like that, were its been very hard for us to find on which of them are telling the truth and fulfilling what they had promised. That's why we eyes to read their whitepaper and road map first, we have many tools to my if it is legit or not, so that it won't happen again it to us.

They blame it to the bounty hunters,  most telegram group of this projects blame it to the hunters, well, it is true to some extent but it is just for bounty hunter to take the reward from their task.  But how could a less than 1% of allocation be the caused of a price crash?  Unless, investors are selling too.  And dev dumping too.

Every ICO follows the same pattern after their launch in order to secure money for development , marketing an so on but most of them just simply cash out your money and walk away leaving the coin in a dead position without any vision ...

Unfortunately, this is a disease that plagues more than 95% of airdrops, of course I want to make money on it. and make good money, but these shares have let their reputation down. and now many are wary of them and do not want to participate

Yes most ICOs dropped its value because more hunters sell coins when it is already distributed. Most hunters take advantage and wanted to convert their tokens to money in form of salaries. Some of them HODL for the hope that it will pump its value in the future just like what I did.

Not all tokens that have been listed on the market have decreased, it happens because some investors have already benefited from the bonus they get when investing so they sell it.

Maybe that ICO has running bounty campaign, most of the dumpers were bounty hunters, expect what will happen if they listed on exchanges. Why don't you try IEO, I'm sure you can make profit especially if they are on big exchanges.

It's all depends on roadmap and plans for that coin.

When coin came to exchange and people start to sell their coin of course price will go down.

But question is what will be after that, does team (of that coin) have a some plan to recover value of that coin.

And many of ICO's have same goal to be on some exchange and that is all that is the end. Of course that is not good, what is point if does not have a future.

The ICO's on the previous years 2017 and below were great since most of the ICOs were successful and only a few were rejects and failures. But starting 2018 up to now there are multiple ICOs popping up like mushrooms and thus the investors have been split and because of the  serious competition among ICOs, the game became survival of the fittest. So my advise is not to focus so much on ICOs since majority of ICOs will end up in a failure and you will lose a big amount from your wallet.

I think at the end of the day it comes down to the honesty of the Devs. But even if honest and buyers have confidence. It ultimately rests son the exchanges. If they decide to take profit themselves or let a token live can be the life or death of an ice ieo.

because people dont trust in ICOs since all the scams ICOs that stole money from people that time. even for a good project can be complicated to find organic money.

for now there is no organic money, that is the real reason.

Ico price can easily drop after listing for some reasons

1.ICO holder get tired of waiting and start to sell

2.most of the ico's are scam and they will start to dump their coins

This sounds funny, investors barely sell at loss, they always wait for having some profit. The initial drop comes from either bounty hunter or team manipulates or dumps their coin.

I had experienced that too mate, which is Got, on the firs day got listed on Latoken it pumped its price were the volume increase more than 2000 eth then as time goes by the price little by little got decreased until it became 0 volume now.

Why didn't you sell on the first day of listing?  We know that often times when a poor/mediocre project is listed on a mediocre exchange, dump will happen.  We should be well aware of this thing, I have seen lots of token being dump once it was listed on an exchange.
