I concur, it is possible that with correct regulations on cryptocurrency and blockchains crime and corruption can be reduced to a minimum. It has been expanding too much with the financial system of banks that are the big reason for the problems even countries are facing having laundered trillions of dollars in tax havens.

on what exactly you assume that what you said is true ? if we want to take logic then of course crypto helped a lot of people to be able to earn more money to serve their daily needs including you and me but at the same time it also can be used in illegal ways which provide to criminals the security and will be harder for governments to track them , this is why so far still crypto is illegal in many countries
