Mixed content http and https

Recommended Posts

I don't think this post provides a good solution to the users. There is confusion regarding http vs https. swara quest uses to be very cautious when they browse any site and make sure the site you are entering is an authentic one in order to avoid any kind of scam. Hopefully search sites would be removed soon in order to avoid any kind of trap.

Adding 'S' on HTTP for it to become HTTPS won't do anything. If the site doesn't natively support secure connection, it won't do anything.

The best thing to do is just outright avoid any site that runs only on HTTP, especially if you are required to enter sensitive information on such sites.

The link to his signature clearly is a scam site that wants to profit only from its visitor. Those sites are pretty common in the web.

Yeah it's a wise decision to avoid entering sensitive information in any ensecure websites having http protocol because it indicates the absence of security (s) and documents can be compromised.

HTTP is insecure and sane due to the reason that hacker containers hang on your profile in a subsequent correlation, as a result they steal that. HTTPS, on the other hand, captures SSL to protect the records through encryption.

Indeed yes my friend. Great work it's really informative. This forum has a number of scammers who are here to spoil the reputation of the platform. Sometimes http or https anything can contribute to the fact that it can work normally. Scams can happen anyway.

There is an application that checks the quality of the link and shortens it in a way that ensures that the signature is placed properly, but I do not have a link for this application. I will search for it and provide members with it in order to get rid of mixed content

Yah. Http is really not secure to have especially if someone accessed the link and it's not that legit to just click some http links. We all know that it's dangerous.

My suggestion to everyone is not to press any links online. It will be rare but there is always the possibility that a link will redirect you on a webpage where malicious code will be injected in your browser. If your antivirus does not act quick to defend your browser and block the attack, then you will have real problems. So no clicking on links is the safest way.

Thank you for warning all of us about members like this who expose all of our devices at risk of viruses and I will try my best to report all the members who put insecure links on their signatures.

Of course, almost all secure sites are created and used https, because it is really more secure, and will not give you the possibility that you will soon just be blocked, or your account will be hacked, and this can be dangerous. Therefore, it seems to me that this function is very necessary, and can be useful to everyone.

Http means Hypertext transfer protocol, while https means Hypertext transfer protocol secure, and professionally it is regarded as SSL certificate, if a site doesn't posses SSL certificate adding the last "S' of http doesn't make it to be secured, even by writing http only and the site is secured then the "S" will be there automatically

I think your browser is having a little problem with this. Sometimes secure websites also use http. It's actually same link but without SSL encryption. Https is more safe than Http but content of website are same with remaining part of link same.

Thanks for this clarification, it is a shame that people are trying to steal from each other, if they are that clever why do not they just figure out a way to earn some money of their own in a legal way. Personally I prefer to use secure links and from now on I will not log into any suspicious link.

HTTP is not safe because hackers can wait your data in the connection so the result they can stole that.

Http is not supported which mean hackers can wait for your account and stole it. Https is very secure that on the hand grasp SSL which it has hacker need to encrypt the code of it because accessing it.

A member should not log into any link that is posted in the forum, you have to be sure that the person who published it is a moderator or at least a trust worthy member, because you cannot make sure where that link leads too and you might get hacked and lose all your personal information

Aight you can add S to HTTP but it wouldn't become a secure connection all of a sudden. It is because if the website it self doesn't really have a secure connection, then it'll not have a secure connection. Adding S to HTTP will not magic-ly make it a secure connection.

if there is any threat for the hack and virus attack than these kind of links should be banned and also the use who is sharing these links should be punished.

Thanks for creating such topics. I think many people beware from those contents which have such site links. Such links harmful for your device and create a lot of changes in your personal data. So try to open such links that are useful for your device.

Well, I have no experience of the IT sides that what dangerous will be to use http or HTTPS, even I didn't see anytime this when I use a link. But the information you have shared is very useful to avoid from the link of http. You should have to report this person in the topic of Report Plagiarism in section of About Forum.

I understand that the HTTPS are very insecure in these times, since it is a facade for negative people.he link is in the signatere so it is maybe not against the rule because it is allowe there but if it is not safe then maybe it has to be check and delete.
