What role does news play in your crypto investment strategy?

Recommended Posts

Elon Musk has just made confusing moves on Twitter related to Bitcoin, the community is not understanding what point he is trying to express: support or give up. And no matter what, Elon Musk's tweet still affects BTC price and the entire crypto market.

My friends are investing based on the news, they call it market  and investor sentiment analysis. However the news is constantly changing and they are also constantly changing their investment strategies.

I just see the news as a way for whales to manipulate market or legitimize price movements. Sometimes the news is quite useful and interesting, especially news about blockchain/crypto events, but I cannot use them for my investment strategy. At least I don't want to be a whale's puppet.

I use a bullrun token price prediction model and everything depends on numbers and market situation, not news. The separation from the news makes my investment strategy more stable and gives me higher returns.

Bro just look at his tweet time, he always tweet in the dead gap time and before weekend when the volume is pretty low or the market is sleeping. And in the backend the big players are using his tweets as the blame and are playing behind.

And, talking about the recent fud or news whatever you name them, I always take them as joke and my investment plan is simple. DCA in bear market, Profit booking in bull market. By this way, I don't act as retailer and act in opposite way.

I don't think investing your hard earned money on the tweet of an stranger is a wise financial decision.

NOTHING I SAY IS FINANCIAL ADVICE. YOU SHOULD USE YOUR MIND ,FOR YOUR MONEY,

I agree with you my friend, the media is the most inflation tools to make the market go up or down, and in my opinion i find that Twitter is one of the first platform to get the news about any coin, because all developers and big traders are there and give news every day, the problem is with beginner who came with Alon Mask? They don't know what to do, just fallowing a sick person who want to control the world,

CAUTION: Search and verify any information you receive, otherwise you will be just a puppet.

For me it is their strategy ang it goes like that. They are the whales they control the market. If you won't go with the flow then prepare to for losses. Because majority of traders base their trading to them that is why they earn some.

I am fed up due to his Tweet. Really, crypto community should have the immune system against his Tweet to be at the normal stage. Personally, I never get deviated just due to his Tweets and hypes while making investments in crypto and after realizing his involvements in Dogecoin's game, I have left choosing Dogecoin in my life.

I do follow the news, not just with Elon Musk. That guy is just one among the many factors that can change the crypto market. There are other more pressing news, some of the most recent being China's increasing restrictions on cryptocurrencies and El Salvador's recent upgrading of Bitcoin into their legal tender.

Cryptocurrencies are notoriously volatile, as everybody in this forum might know already. And the news can seriously affect the crypto market to a significant degree. I try to keep myself updated then guess how it will affect the crypto market and by how much, and after that I compare my opinion with others.

When the market crash due to negative news, crypto usually becomes cheaper. I try to buy cheaper coins if able.

It can also be fun to watch the market's reactions to various news from time to time. Especially when crypto starts to crash and correct itself like this month.

That's very superstitious hype for all the crypto users. Because we can now see that everytime Elion Musk makes a statement it hugely affiliate the price of bitcoin. And the recent crash have this most outcome reason. The thing which disturbs me is when btc us gonna rise again.
