Those who participated in the crowdloan of this project on kusama have been given a good allocation already. Here, the ambassador needs to complete 2 tasks per month. Challenge yourself and take the time to join here. I highly recommend it. And of course, you need to load DOT at least a little bit

Moonbeam - Crowdloan Polkadot pre-registration

 

Hello everyone, friends - as you probably already know, crowdloan Polkadot will start in the coming days. The first auctions will start on November 11 and the Moonbeam project will also fight for the slot

This is how the project itself explains what crowdloan is - it's a way for new projects to get the support they need to connect to the Polkadot network as a parachain. Crowdloan members can show their support for a project by blocking their DOTs for the duration of the parachain lease in exchange for a reward, usually in the form of the project's own token. In most cases, these contributions will pay for the rent of the parachain slot and generate a reward in the form of its own parachain token. When the parachain lease expires, the locked DOT is returned to the user

 

In short, with crowdloan we can lock our DOT coins and receive GLMR coins in return. Among other things, after a certain time (2 years), the blocked DOTs will return to our wallets. Pre-registration does not give us any advantages yet, but this may change in the future. A total of 100 million GLMR will be allocated to crowdloan. After a successful campaign, 30% of the rewards will be available for receiving immediately after the network launch (after enabling the EVM). The remaining 70% will be distributed over the 96-week parachain rental period on a linear basis

The Moonbeam network will be fully operational on Polkadot by January 11, 2022, following the completion of the second phase of the launch process. 🚀

 

Let me remind you that Moonbeam took the 2nd slot of the Polkadot parachain !!!

What this means for the community:

1. Sudo (superuser key) will be removed and network control will be transferred to token holders
2. Balance transfers and EVM will be enabled, which means users will be able to drain tokens as well as start receiving crowdloan rewards. When the transfers are activated, the token holders will manage the network using a governance system

Important:

• Crowdloan members will receive their rewards (initial) after the network is fully launched on Polkadot. More details on the distribution of awards will be announced shortly.
• Take Flight members will receive their GLMR tokens 40 days AFTER full launch, ~ February 20, 2022
