COINMARKETCAP

Recommended Posts

Exchanges link is very dangerous, there are so many out there waiting for the person who will be gone through their phishing website.

If you are not sure on the link that you will visit, i will suggest to visit first https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/ and search the exchange website there as it is always accurate and safe there.

It is better to be safe than sorry!

Very true!

I did not have this in mind of going from a known site. However my preferred exchanges are very limited. Kucoin, Binance and few others only LOL

I also have a few exchanges which i always use, but as a bounty hunter we don't really know how many exchanges we will use as we are always depending on the decision of the team where they will list their token which we will have as a payment for work.

That is the main purpose of this thread to guide people especially newbies and make them safe on having the links.

Additional, alternative for coinmarketcap is https://coinpaprika.com/ , I know coinpaprika seems not so popular as of now. But there's a lot of new feature on coinpaprika that coinmarketcap doesn't have.

Just take a look.

how can you make the title COINMARKETCAP while the contents explain which exchange has a good rating in CMC?
I personally rarely do exchange searches at CMC, because I only focus on 3 exchanges, local exchange, bittrex and binance. other than that only for selling gifts from bounties or airdrops.

Even though people use a limited number of exchanges, they can be a victim of phishing if they try to enter from search result on google. There's some characters which exactly look like the original. There's a phishing site same as binance, the website also look like same.

It's better to bookmark the exchanges to protect yourself from phishing.

Coinmarketcap is very useful for finding good coins, token, and exchanges, they have complete feature  like information of any choosen coin that is listed there. I always visit the site for the gainers and losers and also the recently added coins.

Free Faucet  " ZEN " now listed on BINANCE✌️

There are many exchanges who show fake volume to attract more customers...

Almost all of the exchanges following this strategy to get them top listed. They create bot and trade by themselves against them. CMC information is helpful certainly but never reliable because they are only integrating the information from the exchanges, they don't evaluate anything inner. So, it's better we use exchanges based on real feedback in different forums.

CMC information is too junk, I am not satisfied with their stats at all.I lost tokens in one of the exchange  This Coinmarketcap show stats from whatever exchanges without investigating the real trades. I think they may take bribe and post all those things on their site.

IF some more sites come in future, then this Coinmarketcap would go down.

I only trust a few exchangers because most are less convincing and security is low
theres many exchangers have been hacked so we have to be really careful in choosing and never submit KYC to any exchangers, dont let our data be used for dangerous things
thats why I only registered to the top 20 CMC

You never know where lurks phishing link, so I agree with OP.

Alternatives are to type website in your browser manually

Or just bookmark the site.

I agree with you:  need to bookmark sites and then chances are very low for phishing sites.
Also very good to work on 5-10 exchanges and have different passwords for login !!!

     1) Регистрируйся на бирже  YOBIT  <

    2) Пиши на данном форуме посты !!! Напиши мне.

3) Сделай обмен заработанных сатошек как мой партнер и получи от меня 1234 токена TALK

I have bookmarked exchanges I use, researched links before joining them and I check links before visiting them. There is no room for phishing, just don't click on something in rush, don't forget to check links you are visiting and you will be fine.

Coinmarketcap is showing too many fake volume exchanges which you should ignore at all costs. I suggest you to move to coingecko or openmarketcap. They are far reliable sources imo.

More or less all these coin tracking sites same, however, I too like coingecko. They are far better than coinmarketcap, coinmarketcap only thinks about their benefit. Although they said their recent algorithm is good for finding potential coins, I think it's nothing of use.

It's good to follow official links source, to avoid any problem, I've almost fall in a fake exchange in the past.

That is very dangerous, you might lose all your belongings on your wallet.

Your precious token will be gone once you go to wrong links. there are many key loggers online.

there are so many fake links of ETHERDELTA AND FORKDELTA. beware!

Much better alternative for coinmarketcp is CoinGecko

It can show you all the links and social media activity

There are no boring ads.

Team is transparent

Yes, it will be better to search exchange in coinmarketcap to avoid phishing sites.

And when you first time visiting the exchange website, bookmark it so you can visit the website easily whenever you want.

It has much more information, also on every page you have calculator so you can convert any coin fast,

and add many filters for your search.

I didn't see anyone mentioning coingecko

https://www.coingecko.com/en

They have more coins, up-to-date info, and evaluate internally how much exchange volume is real and how much is washtrading. Should be default first address to check anything crypto.

edit: just scrolled to the end, saw coingecko mentioned now, nevermind.

What is the requirements on coingecko before they will list the token on their platform?

In coinmarketcap one coin or tokens should have 2 or 3 active exchanges and a certain volume per day must be achieve.

I dont know much with this coingecko, can anyone tell it here?

I don't think there is any official number of exchanges needed. I think BANANO was only on one exchange when coingecko started including us. It was very easy to communicate with them, they're doing a really great job.
