We should be attentive and careful about a such new DeFi project. Never start with a high amount of investment, almost all DeFis managed by whales.

As the Defi is decentralized finance, as a new member here I have not so much experience about the DeFi but according to my opinion we should not invest a large amount in any of the project or website because all the sites are not much trusted some rare are very much trusted where we can invest.

This is an important reminder to every traders and investors. 

We are much in to DeFi season currently and many DeFi projects are available. Many are looking saucy to investors but it is very good to take note there are many scam and weak projects as there are legit and strong ones. Taking risks is normal in investment but calculated one brings the positive result.

There are good projects between all that are scam and high risk. If you take a close look you can find them. Just don't trust the ones that are promoted by people that have no morals and are wanted for fraud (like this guy: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/01/technology/bitmex-bitcoin-criminal-charges.html).

It is as you said, very high risk as everything is in a very early stage and we keep reading about money lost from staking pools and liquidations because of hacks or scammers running these websites and exiting their coins, draining the pools of funds. I am something new with Defi but if you are going to invest large amounts of money be careful before investing some are Scam and others their prices fall very quickly when they launch the Defi airdrop be careful if they tell you to invest money remember that they can be hacked by be de-centralized. but I have known that some users have earned a lot as was the case with UniSwap the last september but that is not every day.

What kind of risks are you refering into? Yes there are some risks like errot in Blockchain or development process. But if you use the reputed ones for services like DEX then there is no need to worry like using Uniswap for exchange and if we talk about other Dapps, we can view the source code so we can check that before investment. Unless there is error in smart contracts code there is no need to worry in my view.

I do not know about your view  to DeFi project  but its true that DeFi project  get  market in crypto world just for hype as ico or ieo..  If you look to DeFi coin now then you can see most DeFi coin launched  with bad  intention  and as soon as the coin get popularity  then the coin get hacked  which is unacceptable  scamming ..
