Although I do not have enough information to answer this good question technically, I personally choose the ideal crypto currency according to some criteria. First of all, I check that the crypto coins I chose are listed on many exchanges. Then I pay attention that the total volume offered to the market is not too high. Finally, I choose cryptocurrencies that are not affected by extreme price fluctuations. But most of all, I mostly don't invest in altcoins.

I am not feeling great to invest in other coins except from Bitcoin, while I don't have a problem holding Bitcoin for a long time, I see altcoins rising and dropping very fast and this is not healthy for the altcoin market. It is very high speculation, one day a coin is listed in Binance and then it dumps 90% in days. It is something very dangerous. What can you do with coins like xrp,stellar even ethereum. Not necessarily scam, there may be a lack of support from the crypto community, or the promotion (marketing) of the project was not good enough, and some external circumstances (like corona lockdown) play a major role in the failure of these projects

Yes you are right before chosing a coin research about that is too much needed. Because to take risk is not necessary. Do search . And don't believe on new coins first search about that and then try that .
