Are Blockchain Networks Hackable?

Recommended Posts

well how the hackers and the characters are going these days I think they will be able to crack and help the system and the blockchain within next few years and the cryptocurrency will not be safe after that

This subject is exceptionally helpful, it gives us criticism about blockchain. It is difficult to hack blockchain, however you actually should be cautious since programmers have a solid framework.

How it gives you criticism about the blockchain technology? The facts which I have presented in my topic will help people to get the awareness about the possibilities of the blockchain network hacking. I felt it as my responsibility to create this topic because new generation should get the knowledge about weakest part of blockchain too.

Blockchain is very popular and its security system is very good .But now a day hackers can hack some websites easily but blockchain cannot hacked easily becouse its security is best than other websites. The hacking is not easy to best website  .

Hi friend i consider the block chain is the most safe and secure wallet in the world but technology of hacking is also developed day by day and there is possibility of hacking any account. So the management system of block chain should be updated from new technology of hacking.

Lol 🤣, hey we are not talking about Blockchain wallet's web version here. It is the clear indication that you have not read the original topic carefully.

If there is  Insufficient security than Many blockchain hacks have happened. So security is on first priority.

Malicious miners in PoW consensus protocol could have the majority mining share to perform notorious 51% attack if there are less numbers of node in such particular blockchain networks.

Well, blockchain is a complex network if one system is hacked then wrong information will get that system out of the network. So in this way this decentralized network is secured its proof is everywhere so one cannot destroy this blockchain or hack. It is completely secured. This topics has discussed the blockchain very nicely.

No, it is not possible to hack blockchain. It will take years to hack a blovkchain network. For hacking blockchain network hacker needs a big computer system. So it is very difficult to hack blockchain network.

Data is being distributed in the ledger so all the participants or actors in the blockchain ecosystem has copy of data from the block. I have mentioned some exceptional cases for small blockchain network hack, you might love to check that out 😉

Check the point that I highlighted for 51% or majority attack from the malicious miners.

we see many times in news paper where telling us hackers hacked the website ,I think hackers get access some weak blockchains

WE are talking about blockchain hacking, website hacking is utterly irrelevant to this technical discussion thread. Please study first and write on forum.

Hello friends this is good topic, for many blockchain observers, 51% is a loaded number. This is the percentage of computing power necessary to, as the MIT technology review recently called it, hack the unhackable.

Huh? What are you talking about 😂😂? Majority or 51% attack is not something like you have just in your reply ! I ask you to spend 5-6 minutes to read the original topic once again.

I know blockchain is secure from any kind of hack. Because you know all the blockchain activity connected with thousands computer and the connectivity like a chain.

Again you failed to notice the exceptional cases in my topic. Majority attacks possible for the smaller blockchain networks why are not you getting the points? Look into the link provided for 51% attacks on Ethereum Classic blockchain network. Bigger networks are safer and you have to mention the detail in that case.

Anything in this world that created by man is not complete and also having some weeks points and any person who catch this weak point that guy can easily put a disturbance in that's thing life so if you talked about blickchain it also having week points but it's not easy to hack it.

First of all, write the term correctly, blockchain and obviously, it is not a blickchain like you are telling now. The crux of matter regarding the possibilities of small blockchain network hacking is carefully mentioned in the topic and it is weird, you are coming to write in this thread without checking the points mentioned in the OP.

I think that no one can penetrate Blochin because the decentralization you enjoy and the close interrelationship between accounts and data and not showing any useful information about people is very difficult to penetrate currency, perhaps this process requires a complete penetration of the pluccin, and it needs something extraordinary genius

Thank you so much for this useful information about hacking matter in crypto world. There are really much chances to get in the trap of the hackers in technology base world. Blockchain technology is also the part of technology which have the chances of getting hacked. It is necessary to have some protection skills we have to learn to keep safe ourselves from hackers.

As the blockchain technology is utterly based on the codes and the complex programming, yes there are the chances of getting hacked or attacked. As it is decentralized and if there are so many nodes which are powering up the blockchain, there is less possibilities of getting majority attack or the hacking attempts.

As far as I know it is impossible to hack any blockchain created in the right way. There are some projects that declare that they are blockchain based, but they are fake, really blockchain based project is very difficult to hack or cheat in any way.

There are  the limitations ! You have not checked all the aspects presented in the topic. Not all blockchain networks are so powerful. DDoS attack is still possible for some weakly coupled blockchain network having the weakest blockchain architecture. I expect you to be familiar with the all kinds of blockchain networks as it is the basic thing.

Protection means you might choose the coins/tokens from the biggest public blockchain networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Polkadot, etc. to choose the currencies for the investment purposes. Make sure, you chosen currencies are not from the low grade malicious blockchain networks in which majority attacks are possible. Nowadays, PoS based largest blockchain networks are looking safer for you guys.
