Remember before you encrypt your wallet make sure you use a password that you can never forget but don't use the common one like birthday or anniversary. It very easy to avoid scammers but first of all you need to protect your security key and make sure you don't give it to anyone, customer care, website for free currency or for any reason don't dispose your security key.

These are very useful tips if you will follow it correctly though not everyone can easily follow this tips especially those newbies as generating a private key via offline environment is hard one to do if your not yet familiar with crypto. 

 

Creating backups is not a problem as it is not that difficult but encrypting is another issue again for newbies. But if they can do this without any problem then it's good for them so they can secure their money in their wallets.
