It's not an invest advice but based on past events we can treat it as a fact, halvings always contribute to the price of Bitcoin and other coins, we can conclude that there's a possibility, that this halving will have an effect on the price.

What's a 'chock'?  I'm very curious to know because I'm not a technical analysis type of investor.

 

Right now bitcoin is up about $200 in the last 12 hours, and that's surprising.  Not shocking but a little surprising, and I hope the market finds some momentum such that bitcoin will continue upwards.  The halving is about 5 months away and I'd say it's about time we started seeing a decent rise.

I think that there are already thousands of people who expect bitcoin to increase next year so that they find it easier to get profits again because of things like they had hoped for the first time so far.

My analysis is almost the same but I think in the months between now and halving, there will be another bull run that may last for a short time but helps us to earn more profit and use this profit to buy more bitcoin to hold for the halving. I predict that in the first months of 2020, bitcoin will experience a lot of short and quick ups and downs but nothing significant will happen. So, it is only suitable for daily traders to take advantage of these fluctuations that happen multiple times during a day. Long term investors should be patient and wait more for the bull run. The bull season you are talking about is the main target of all 2019 holders. Even if it starts and ends for a few days, we should grab the opportunity to prepare ourselves better for the big event of 2020 (halving).

This downward is temporary and after 1st quoter we will see BTC come back .but till then i think we have to make some investment on low price coins.Because after halving those investment would be double fold or even more.

Looks like price is trying to escape the descenting pattern. 8500$ today but there is a real possibility of a fakeout. There is no new money entering and tether can't pump beyond a certain point. This looks bad to me. There is no fundamental technical analysis to confirm that price brokeout and perhaps another dump is in place.

In December the movement of bitcoin did not show signs of going bullish, and in January bitcoin showed a pretty good price increase, it's just that we have to be careful when the Chinese New Year, because it could be a correction.
