If there is no exchange, does crypto still run?

If we go few years back when there is no alt coin available, exchanges are also not available at that time and only fiat to bitcoin exchanges are available. It means exchanges are created due to alt coins and if alt coins finished then exchanges would also be finished.

When the founders of bitcoin or cryptocurrency designed and created crypto, surely they had designed all the existing systems. Where are the sources of crypto coins obtained and where can these crypto coins be exchanged for money. So I don't think it's possible if there is crypto but no exchange.

It starting it would be difficult, but after some time it can be normal. Because with this most of other sector. Because with this they can use thier cryptocurrency.  So it can be buying process and it can be on other ways. But it can be servive.  Because with other method it would possible to use it. So cryptocurrency is the only high coinnwhen it have benefits then people must use it and would take advantage from it . I do not think that cryptocurrencies will continue without the existence of exchange, the basis of the strength and prosperity of cryptocurrencies is investment and transferring cryptocurrencies from one person to another, and thus their price rises or falls depending on the process that the investor performs, but we do not know in the future what the shape of the cryptocurrencies will look like and how it will work.

crypto will exist but where will we trade them? perhaps at least the decentralized exchanges (dex) should exist in order for crypto to be still available. otherwise there would be some numbers which you can't buy or sell so literally it will cease to exist.

Many of the cryptocurrencies have have no value. So they will disappear from existence if we do not have exchange platforms and no one wants them, but even without exchanges, Top cryptocurrencies would continue to exist through direct exchanges between users peer by peer, as long as there is demand, the cryptocurrency market will continue to exists. If there is no exchange platform then people will not prefer shitcoins.
