I have never heard of it, especially in the wallet that I often use to store my assets. I gave the example of myetherwallet, an online wallet for storing altcoin. over the years I have used it, there has never been any theft.

I want to know if there is any online wallet that been compromised before. So, that we can know maybe online wallets is actually better than exchanges for safe keeping Crypto.

what do you mean with online wallet? there are online wallet where you keep you private keys (like metamask) and there are also online custodial wallet where you are just giving them your money, like exchanges

anyway online wallet where you keep the private keys can be hacked but you will not lose anything because they don't keep track of your private key, so the security is up to you.

custodial online wallets and exchanges can be hacked and in this case you will lose your money

Yeah there is that is why yobit will always warn us if we log in our account in the other IP address that if our account has been hack then yobit can not help us about that. Be careful and wisely in keeping our wallet.

I suppose the safest wallet is yobit. no one be able to fracture it as the guarantee is accordingly close-fitting in it, other than that I don't appreciate which wallet is the best. on yobit the asking price is extremely cheap.

I'm active in crypto world from last 1 year but still there i didn't heard about hacking of any wallet. But there might something happened like same before, so i don't know about that but yes in last year there isn't happened and case like this. Also wallets have strong security so i guess hacking won't be easy.

Since its development, the security issue has been a crucial issue for bitcoin. On the one side, the bitcoin itself is very hard to hack, and this is mostly because of its supporting blockchain technology. Since bitcoin users actively check blockchain, exploits are unlikely to occur.

So you really think that online wallets are not hacked. They can be used to store your money but they are not the safest mean of your currency storage they are also hacked to get money from some specific accounts.

If a person not use any type of security for their wallet then I think the chances of hack their wallet will gonna to increase.

I don’t know about wallets but there are a number of crypto exchanges that have fallen prey to cybercriminals over the years. They include Mt. Gox, Bitfinex, and Binance.

Never before have I heard that a person’s wallet has been compromised and I don’t know if this really exists so the governor’s safety level has become very large and there is a two-factor authentication too

Maybe because some online wallets has no good security options. I remembered my old friend complaining about loosing money to hackers, but I didn't asked the wallet name. People loose money steady to those cyber criminals daily. My advice is to find a well secured online wallets before putting their coins in.

I also do not know that where the exchange has been hacked or not. But i think that they might have a better future.

No one can break it because the security is so tight in it, other than that I don't know which wallet is the best.Even if your wallet doesn't store the CVV or the expiry date, the stolen information can be used to carry out targeted phishing attacks on you.only this year about 21 milion dollar get hacked from online wallet

Actualy most of browser wallets have low security standards and a lot have already been hacked in the past.

The CVV you are referring to is the extra secrurity layer of you credit/debit card (the 3digit code on the back of the card) and has nothing to do with cryptocurrency wallets.
