Can you Quite your Job because crypto?

Recommended Posts

Let's give an example with Bitcoins.

To be able to earn enough money to be able to actually quit your job from profiting from cryptocurrencies, first you should have a buttload full of it, how you obtain it doesn't matter. And second, if a bull run comes and you were able to sell your Bitcoin holdings at the highest price possible.

This is what happened to 2017. Some people got rich and quit their normal jobs because of it.

Today, you still need your job to be able to buy Bitcoins (in addition to your daily financial needs, of course). Earning through trading in exchanges takes time and patience, and nobody really knows when the exact time of a Bitcoin bull run will come. Until the time comes when you get to benefit hugely from a repeat of 2017, you cannot quit your job.

That is depend of how much you gain from cryptocurrency. Also how much time and effort to make it.

If in job we must work daily around 8 hours. You can calculate how much your salary every hour. Then compare it with reward from cryptocurrency. If cryptocurrency give you more money, but you can't scale it. I just give you advice to doing both, first you get fixed income from job and also get side income from cryptocurrency. That is fair solution right?

I didn't quit my job, but I made it a second place to work. so if there is free time I work on crypto and if my time works at my place I leave crypto for a while in terms of rest.

Do not make cryptocurrency your livelihood. Make it a distraction or just a sharp a hobby. Very difficult to become rich with crypto if we have a relatively small capital or even just looking for free.

This is the thing I won't do even though I earn a lot of money in crypto. It is not promising that it will be stable, so it is hard to take risk to quit your job and rely on crypto instead.

If I were you I would  not quit my job for cryptos . Instead I would take it partial. I would have saved my earnings and invest it to start my own  small solar mining farm at home which would give me a consistent earning for my lifetime.  After that i would slowly upgrade and increase my mining systems and  it would be profitable for a long time.

I would exchange them to cash if I needed it otherwise I would hold it for future use and exchange.

I dont see if there are anybody who can quite his job because cryptocurrency! because to trade or invest on cryptocurrency you dont need to move from your home or office! you can trade from your office and you dont need more time, also you can trade from your bed.

If you want to quit your job you must have a large amount of investment to rely on for the future. It is possible to earn decent money with crypto trading if you invest big money but do you trust on an extremely volatile market? You may even earn much more with crypto than your normal job but your job is always there if you need money but crypto market doesn't care about its investors! It only behaves as it likes and plays with people's money! If I were you, I would keep a fixed income with my job and focus on cryptocurrencies to increase my earnings. If you quit your job, you will regret it. A fixed job will give you money even when you are ill or on vacation!

It was based on your current job, if your job is stable and getting enough income on it then cryptocurrency will be extra job. If you choose cryptocurrency then it will take long time and exerting so much hardwork to be successful on cryptocurrency.

Only the lucky ones who bought bitcoin about 5 years ago have enough income to live on it. the rest are just trying to make money here. I won’t live on such income

Of course, if I get rich on cryptocurrency, then I definitely will stop working. Soon, then you realize that work is not needed, but you need to open your own business so that the work works for you. The same in cryptocurrencies.

Quit my job?  Nope, I won't be doing that because of any crypto earnings.  With signature campaigns and the like, it would be impossible to support yourself in my country because everything costs so much and you really only earn a few dollars a day with crypto.

I seriously doubt many people live on trading or bounties or anything else like that, but then again I suppose it depends on where you live.

I can not quit my job. Cryptocurrency is very volatile. I consider cryptocurrency only as an additional way to earn money.

I don't think so, we always should take crypto as our second income and not the primary one, because honestly this is not a stable field at all and always expect a limit for it, so don't count on it so much

Indeed yes,

in which crypto currencies are at good price, "but quitting job because of crypto currencies" in my personal view is not a good move, it's not a great idea, maybe still doing some part time time, for environment rotation and change.

For now, cryococurrency is primary income for me.  For me personally cryptocurrenc has a good opportunity to change my current financial situation. Maybe if I get a job other than the cryptocurrenc I make it as a sidejob

i think i will definitely leave my job and focus more on crypto but for that i need to first make a lot of money and then keep making the rest on crypto. because the future of crypto seem so good and i wouldnt want to miss out on it.

Indeed yes,

that we have our own views of things, we have our own perspective in life, some may quit there job and some may still work on it as part time, in some country it is not easy to declare asset with out tangible source of income and some tax issue so some may not quit job for this purposes, i think so.

Of course I can not quit my job just because of cryptocurrency, my job can provide a fixed salary / income every month, while the income from cryptocurrency is not fixed, sometimes today is profitable and tomorrow's loss. So for me cryptocurrency is just an additional income as well as the pleasure of collecting cryptocurrency, and I never expected to be rich from cryptocurrency. Happy weekend.
