I noticed something recently which there is more than 21k member in this forum, this is good and encouraging too but the question is why only 5k members are always the most online, and every time I enter this forum I find only between 70 and 300 members online in that moment and sometimes less, this is very disappointed and I think a lot of new members abandoned their accounts after they signed up.

what do you think the problem is??

well , There are several different reasons , Each member here has its own reasons , Maybe the time is short and maybe they are not interested in the forum .The solution is to start closing inactive accounts in the last month

We can't push people to do something, maybe they have another job with huge payment than here and need to be done shortly. Just keep make good post/ reply because this is the best we can do, if admin release rules non active member will delete in a month, forum will be look's different.

In my opinion the reason why they might abandoned their account because they doesn't get payed anymore.The deleted post and topics might be the reason in which it's been so hard to cope up those deleted post.It might be dissapponting for those member whose only here aiming to  earn.Its their choice and we have nothing to do with that.

There has many accounts that is being banned by the admins by doing some activities that are probihited to this forum, this is a good news from us to avoid some spammers, plagiarism etc. For the better of this forum.

There are many reasons for that. The language factor, the interest factor and the device factor, and that is only a factor not to mention the time and internet connection factors in some countries, intetnet connections are very difficult and very expensive.  Maybe my opinion is correct, correct it when I am wrong. Thank's friends for your observations, we need to think about why there are only a quarter of active members, I think, many of the causes are such as having restrictions being applied, so they cannot write posts, they have other activities or they have abandoned this forum. So maybe the Admin needs to issue a new regulation about All non-active accounts that have not been visited / logged in for more than 60 days, all their content counts and reputation will be deleted.

You should check out Yobit's previous airdrop. There were plenty of dummy accounts that went online that day just to get the airdrop.

 

Check out how many pages it reached on only its first few hours, and check out how many of those accounts made only 1 or 2 posts. LOL.

 

This is of course aside from the shitposters that are now six feet under and feeding the maggots and worms.

Yes I also think about it maybe they are very busy in other job that is why they are giving more time to this forum.

Well maybe those people are not active anymore or accounts that have been banned. but even if the forum has only 5k active members, the forum are still doing great. and the christmast is coming so expect people to be busy.

I find these numbers for a new forum very good. Even for an old established forum they are good, so i am not sure where the problem exactly is.

I think there's a lot of factors why there's a lot of members are often online here. I think it is because they only here when they have free time, second is the time we are woke up is not the same to others because members here are composed by different people all over the world. Also, i think there's a little percent of many accounts where made by one person and i don't know their reason.

The reality is that it is less than 2% (1,4%) and the day they ere 5k was by the Yobit Airdrop.

It seems little, but it is not so bad. Actually that data of online users represents a moment,  so in reality users who go through the forum every day can be 5% - 10% of the total member.

Maybe some of them come just for airdrop, and also we should count that we have different timezones so we can't be all at same times online, and maybe some just leave the forum or have some warning.

Introducing more schemes or activities will make the users more involved in the forum. 

A small bonus weekly depending on the strategy..encouraging the newbies by rewards depending on the quality of posts will surely involve more users.

And about members, I see a lot comments like they maybe have a job wait why did not have when competition for maximum posts was open? Or why they complaining about deleted posts when they comment that topics?

Once when the total member was 10000 than the daily active members were just like now have. Before 12th November a lot of members (around 6000) were signed up just only for Airdrop and after the end of it they left this place. Besides there are many fake accounts here which are banned now. But their accounts are still exist.

Good observation,and you're correct with what you observed,many that abandoned there account was maybe due to language,some post here are in Russia,and some people found it hard to contribute on such post,while some people just open the account for no reason because they have not tangible to contribute,and this is affecting there post been deleted

Yeah, most of those members are abandoned there account because of the requirements but i think that is good for this forum because to filter those people who are interested in crypto currency. But i have a question, is the banned accounts are belong to those members or not?  Because i see these past few week the admins and moderators banned many account but the members count are still increasing.

Indeed yes,

* in my personal view since members belong to different country of different geographic location and time zone, it is the impossible for all members to got online at same time.

* that i also notice some members who didn't got online for a month or a week or two, many members abandoned or leave the forum and some have just got some sort of vacation, i think so.

My guess is that many of those members were drawn to cryptotalk because it's a pay for post type system, but perhaps they realized that 30k satoshis per day as a maximum just isn't worth it for making 30 posts.  It really isn't a lot of money, not even for people in the poorest of countries.  Plus those people in poor countries might not even have a way to withdraw bitcoin (or an altcoin) and use it in any meaningful way.

 

But who knows why there are so many inactive members here.  All I know is that the same thing is true on bitcointalk, where there are *millions* of registered members, but there's nowhere near that many logged in at any given moment.

I think people here has its own reasons why they are not much giving time to be online and browse here. There is a lot of factors to be considered when it comes to the numbers in this community. Maybe they use this as passage time to earn or some use this as primary source of income. Let's just be greaful for those who are always online here amd giving their best to make quality posts.

I think users are being busy on their living in the real world. That's why they didn't use or visit cryptotalk. But it's holiday season, let's hope that users will comeback here.

We cannot depend here,this site is only for extra income,that's why maybe most member here is busy at their work and dont have enough time here or its hard for them to tackle every topic here.
