I think It's quite impossible Because user suppor, total supply, market cap etc. 

Everyone support  BTC not alt coin.

I think if ETH overtake BTC crypto, Coin market should be crashed.

Bitcoin is the flagship cryptocurrency and if there is anything that could make it go underground, every other coin including ETH would not be spared. If ETH was ever going to overtake Bitcoin, it would have done so when it was at its peak of success, but now it has lost steam and there are a whole lot of competition from other coins trying to outdo it.

I think, Ethereum will not overtake Bitcoin, or It's impossible that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin on Coinmarketcap. This is my reasoning because Ethereum volume, market cap and circulating supply are much smaller than Bitcoin so it is very difficult Eth can catch up to Bitcoin.

Yes and comparing the both of communities with each other the bitcoin is leading win because the bitcoin communities is very large.

I don't think it's possible in the future. Bitcoin will always be on the first position in the list. And Ethereum takes the second place.

No one can defeat bitcoin even ethereum. If we basing marketcap to become number 1 then ethereum can not surpass it because bitcoin marketcap is $130 billion while ethereum is $15 billion. If we base in popularity, still bitcoin is popular than ethereum.

I think Eth can't beat btc in the top place. It is because Eth, if I'm right, is also depending on the value of btc. If btc will fail, it will fail also.

one day, it will definitely happen and I always imagine that. there are 2 possibilities, the first is the development of etherum which is more advanced than bitcoin so that etherum can take over the marketplace, and the second possibility is that bitcoin reaches its total supply and finally etherum takes over its position.

Anything is possible. And considering Ethereum is reputable at second place, it could happen, although not any sooner.

 

Unless Ethereum manages to create something revolutionary and way above current cryptocurrency limitations and standard, it's unlikely to happen.

I think there'll be no altcoin that can surpass or be the same with bitcoin because we all know that bitcoin is like the father of cryptocurrency, also we all know that bitcoin is dominating the market even etherium has a lot of supply. Also, if people is talking about cryptocurrency the first thing that will go their mind is bitcoin, so just by popularity bitcoin is already the most popular.

there are many people who thought this might happen but i dont think it will ever happen because first the supply of etheruem is too much and the use cases for etheruem is lower and it cant be the case where etheruem is more adopted than bitcoin itself.

Bitcoin is the king of crypto coins for long time. For very this may be very difficult for other crypto coins to chase the price. Even though it's Ethereum which has a pretty high price and popularity is not interior to Bitcoin.

Ethereum will not that take bitcoin place, every coin came from bitcoin and market move depend bitcoin quantity and quality. Has good track record and history not became ethereum number one, I positive about this. People see ethereum is alternative when bitcoin has negative movement, so there's chance to get income even in small amount.

No , I never think that. bitcoin is the king of the crypto market. now the price of btc is 7100 usd  and eth price is 150 usd. I think it is not possible that eth overtake btc .
