Kraken exchange adds Swiss franc support

The Kraken virtual exchange team team, one of the largest and oldest bitcoin exchanges in the world, revealed that the Swiss franc started trading on Friday, December 6, and that trading pairs will be offered between the Bitcoin Swiss Franc (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).

The exchange indicated that the near future will include adding more trading pairs with the CHF.
Currently, the cryptocurrency exchange supports 5 traditional currencies: the US dollar (USD), the Canadian dollar (CAD), the euro (EUR), the British pound (GBP), and the Japanese yen (JPY).
The Kraken Digital Currency Exchange, recently announced that it will join Silvergate Exchange (SEN) to enable its clients to deposit and withdraw US dollars from Silvergate accounts without any fees.

In my opinion, this is positive and encourages more users to come to work on this exchange. Accepting more Fiat on the platform helps to facilitate the transfer and encourages more investors.

Kraken was one of the long existing crypto exchange site and i respect the part that they also implement a bounty reward for anyone that find out the issues of what happened about bittrex hacking issue.

That was great news! Swiss franc was good and strong currency and also it's center of banking so i think people on swiss can access cryptocurrency through Kraken exchange and giving positive view to cryptocurrency, Really thank you for sharing this mate!

kraken keeps adding local currencies of big European countries in a matter that will easily help people invest in bitcoin but they forget their exchange is the worst when it comes to User Interface.

Many exchanges change direction to keep the exchanges running. Now the launch crypto pair currency to show that they ready to support any financial activity that connected with legal market. This is good step and also break USD monopoly that crypto only depend with them.

Yes, your words are true, and I believe that exchanges should start supporting the rest of the local currencies in order to attract more investors and traders to the crypto world, as well as to end the dollar's control of everything.

Kraken is usually an Exchange that should always be in pour options , has good features and is always incorporating options like this one from Fiat. Indeed very good news for the world of cryptocurrencies, I didn't know about this new advantage of Kraken.

Yes, this is good news, and I am always happy when I hear about an exchange adding new Fiat to the exchange. This makes things much easier when you want to withdraw your cryptocurrencies from exchange and convert them into fiat.

kraken exchange is a good exchange and this is so much famous and i hope it will go to so much high like other exchanges. Yes indeed, these fake exchanges on the Internet have spread widely, and people should do a good search for the exchange before depositing their money in it. Even the exchanges that were good and known from time ago tricked or closed like Cryptopia and Idax.

well i think yea we need to stop this USD monopoly over everything and we can finally depend on our own currency for once in trading , i see binance added so many countries that they now adding African countries as well and gave us a chance to use our own fiat.

You're about scammers involvement in some new exchange site which also the reason why kraken and others long existing exchange site are not among famous exchange because the strategy they use now are fake volume listing.

Yes. Kraken is one of the reliable exchange. I also trade some of my BTC there. But they need to improve their UI because sometimes they load so slow. They also need to add automatic price input so we don't have to type it manually.

Yes, this is also my opinion, adding more national currencies to exchanges makes it more popular and spread around the world and it makes exchanging in cryptocurrencies much easier as you can convert directly from cryptocurrencies to the national currency and vice versa.

Kraken exchange is one of the oldest known exchanges, and one of the best is also. I do not think the fees are high, but some coins may have fees that are a little high, but there are other coins whose fees are low and you can transfer through them.
