I disagree with you the exchange was hacked that is not mean that ethereum blockchain is not save . No ethereum blockchain is one of the most strong and security blockchain I ever see.

Yeah ethereum network is not that secure like bitcoin, there have problem some problems in the past were hackers were able to break through and steal coins but the chances of cracking ethereum is very very low now cause the network has been upgrade and the computing power of ethereum network have greatly increase.

These events have nothing to do with the Ethereum Network but with security issues in both of these exchanges. The Ethereum blockchain was not hacked. These exchanges were either easy pray for hackers or it was an inside job in both as it has been suggested in the past.

I dont understand you, you think if some exchanges are hacked than whole Ethereum network are not secure?

Why then on other exchanges there are no hack with Ethereum?

And you mentioned just two exchanges, what about Binance hack (I read somewhere BTC hack) that means for you that BTC is not secure?

Just because a cryptocurrency gets stolen from an exchange doesn't mean that coin network isn't strong, those exchange had poor security features and hackers exploited them, ethereum network is one of top secure network in crypto world.

Ethereum network is very secure, those exchanges are not they didn't put strong protection methods in place to handle hacker properly but Ethereum uses strong cryptographic and have a huge network power that is almost as strong as bitcoin.

I think it's a matter of their own exchange that doesn't have proper security facilities. I have heard that the cryptopia exchange has been hacked in large numbers and that all assets in it cannot be recovered. And there isn't any evidence about that problem. So choosing an exchange is very important to keep finances safe.

It's your friend's fault. since he is not preoccupied by security at the entrance to MEW. Then the Amazon DNS servers on which MEW is based were hacked. Just install the MetaCert.

Hackers who can steal from the exchange will not want to do it to you, because they are big hackers. Unless you store assets in the exchange concerned. But when it comes to ethereum network security, in my opinion, the etehreum network is still safe. If it's not safe then people won't use the ethereum blokchain for the development of tokens.

It's not ethereum that isn't safe and you can't blame it. The exchange you mentioned is a blunder. Ask them why their exchange security is so weak. Also, ask yourself why you are so slow at understanding this.

Not only ether get hacked, many other coins also hacked from exchanges and wallets. Big amounts of btc is also stolen from exchanges many times. So any coin could be hacked. Now hackers are working in teams to steal big coins. So crypto users should be aware. Exchanges are more vulnerable due to high volume of coins.

May be their is specific group of hackers who find something about ETH and targeting ETH.They want to take down ETH.Because one or two times can be coincident but not every time.

Recently we have some discussions about security of cryptocurrencies and specially Ethereum as many voices coming its not secure but as developes and Ethereum Foundation give all updates about this its very secure and they are not going to do any violation or intereserence with security because its all about community its not alone by any person so its very secure and safe system which is now helping many other projects in future.

It could be your are right that this group of hackers wants to mess ether up or it could be that they found security vulnerability on ether.

U don't think its about ethereum because any body can deploy ethereum smart contract in a third part apps but one must have understanding and security when deploying any smart contract in a third party system or app. So. Don't think that ethereum its self is the problem.

I don't think so because Ethereum network is the only network through which a new currency emerge in the market. If we see when currency took place they only want ERC20 Ethereum base wallet. it is impossible to say that Ethereum is unsafe

I don't think so because if ethereum would not having a great protection then it would not have made so much of users most of the users of ethereum are very satisfied and able to earn good and also trying to invest in it for a long term.

I don't think Ethereum is not secure it's because the two exchanges has been hacked ethereum? We really don't know the truth if the exchanges are hacked or they just make excuses to steal ethereum from the users.

I do not see the security in Ether, I am always afraid of incidents that will happen in Ether. Not to blame, but because the ethereum network is really problematic.
