Which one is more risky? Short term or Long term?

Recommended Posts

More risky is the short term because price always moves very fast and is volatile, so in short term you may lose, while for long term the price is always rising for Bitcoin, but it is better to read the cycles and find the best moment to enter into a long term trade. You don't want to be stuck for three years at a loss until Bitcoin recovers from a bear run.

Trading as a whole is a risky business as whole but it requires a knowledge and very good experience in dealing with it, well in my own opinion the short term trading is very risky because you don't have full assurrance that the price will pumpbat that particular time you want to trade.

Long term trading seems to be more risky than that of short term trading. Even though long term trading offers with a great benefit but it cannot be trustworthy. On the other hand we can get the results within a short period of time, even the loss is not too much.

According to the senior members, there are more ricks in short term trading and less ricks in long term trading. In long term we hold the currency for a long time but in short term trading we hold the currency for some time.

I think it depends on which currency you want to invest in. If you have a currency that has no record, you should invest in that currency for a short period of time. But if there is a currency register then we want to use long term in it BTC and ETH are best for long term.

It depends on what you are investing in, if it does not have potential then even short term can lead to losses. As for the long term, it is good for debt. They have patience for a good currency and earn profits without losses.

It doesn't matter which direction you trade in, whether it's buying or selling,
Trading is risky, of course, and you can lose as well as make a profit.
You have to do the appropriate analysis for the currency you want to trade, then know the next trend and enter with it, and try not to go against the general trend of the market.

I think a short term should be more risky because if it is long term you may decide to terminate it along the road when you see that things are not actually going the way you planned, but if it is a short term before you realize it has come to an end and you will just have to take the loss.

i think the long term is more dangerous because its more difficult to analyze ang short term is eassy to analyze.  patience also is the most important thing in forex trading which is usually very rare in forex traders

I think short term trading is more risky than long term trading, because market can change its levels from resistance towards support or support towards resistance just in few seconds. Hence short term order may face loss due to this quick change of market position. While the long term trading is less risky because there is long time order you put on position, market must repeat it's level of resistance and support after a certain period of time, so if market goes against your prediction do not be upset because it will touch its levels again then you can close the order after getting huge profit.

Long term investment is risky for sure and we should avoid long term investment. Because we do no know the strategies of the scammers and hackers. We can loose that money by hackers.

In my views it's only short term trading which is risky and you may lose all,but if you have good experience and fully skilled you can manage to save your from any kind if spams. But in most case peoples take the risk of short term trading and not knows will about trading may lost their money. So be careful while you chose the trading. Also your strategies and plans of trading matter that what kind of good plans you can make to became successfull.

It's all depends cause trading is risky and it's all about you to be wise and lessen that risk. For example you have $100 and you trade 10% of it in forex. That means if you continue using your 10% money in your capital you can lessen the risk to lose it all. But it is still always depends on you or your strategy. And last thing "If you ask the advice of enough people you are almost sure to end up by doing nothing.

You have advantages and disadvantages, so you have to differentiate between them and choose the best for you, but short-term trading may earn you a good and acceptable profit, but you have to remain vigilant during the currency and pay good attention to the currency movement to carry out the buying or selling process to be able to earn

Long-term and short-term trade is equally profitable but it must be done at the right time, I think the risk depends on the type of coin traded, if we trade Bitcoin, of course the risk will be less. Short or long-term trade is not a more risky size, but trade coins determine the risk, purchase and sales at the right time will minimize risk.

I guess short term trading is more dangerous because you will be watching the price all the time and when the price fall you might make emotional decisions and sell out with a loss and then hours later the price might rise again and you will not have enough money to buy again, therefore you need to buy the cryptos and forget all about them for a year or two.

Well, both short term or long term has risk but the difference is that short term is more risky because you can't be sure if what you've engage could bring profit in a short time and because of the volatility of a currency you can't be sure if in the short period the currency will be high or low, so its much better to do long term trading to see and decide if when you can earn. For example in bitcoin imagine the early investors that buy bitcoin and keep it for too long then see how much money they can get because of the growth of bitcoin price.

As my trading experience, I think long term trading is more risky. Because you dont know the proper time. You are waiting for a long time. If market will not increase then it will be sad news for you.

I think that going long-term is more risky than going short term because when you go short term, you can easily extract your capital when you observe that there is a down fall in the value of cryptocurrencies.

In my opinion trading is risky. If you have proper knowledge about trading and crypto currency then I think it is not risky. Short term trading is small risky but you can get results in few days not waiting long time.

Short-term trade is the riskiest trade, but it gives us greater profit and how to recover if we put it into practice, everything here is the practice and knowledge that we have of the market and the asset to invest, long-term trade allows us It makes a profit because the market is studied, and you can leave at any time with profits or losses, but it is important to know in which project we are going to make an entry and the profits that it can bring us.

The short term is riskier than the long term because in the short term you are not sure or sure you are going to make money but in the short term you do not know if the currency is really pumping.
