Kucoin Soft Staking

Have you ever heard of Kucoin Soft Staking? In this system, Kucoin allows its user to hold coins in the wallet which will generate them staking rewards after a given time. I think it's bad for the projects. For example, if we look at DeepOnion which is listed in Kucoin (Biggest for them), DeepOnion's daily volume has fallen a lot after the Soft Staking announcement. Low volume is very risky for a project, over the time it may die as well.

I have used Kucoin from the first release and I hope Soft Staking program can make the KCS price better and higher not go down

I've been into KUCOIN, and i always make sure that i have KCS there always.

I started at 20KCS and now i have 2000 of it, just hold it and you will have free tokens.

Their airdrop is always good the only requirement is you must have KCS and you will receive the new token depends on how many KCS you have. The more the better.

Good to know, although I like Kucoin but I don't prefer holding coin in an exchange. i have lost significant amount in cryptopia. I was day trading at that time and lost huge with the cryptopia hack. However, Kucoin is far better than cryptopia. For airdrop, do they require KYC?

I think Kucoin is the only exchanger thats very diligent in giving gifts to the holders and KCS that is routinely burned makes me confident of the future of KCS

It is easy to make more KCS for the better free token in the future. Here is what i always do.

You hold KCS you will receive some tokens if there are some promotions.

Sell the token you get and buy more KCS using it.
Wait again for the next free and do the same, easy 🙂

Sounds good. What's the minimum KCS i have to hold there in order to get free airdrop? I have not bothered looking at this ever but it looks like i should be given eye, after all it's almost free money there. Why not I give a try? can you share link for detailed post?

I also lost significant amount because of cryptopia, but I think Kucoin's security level is good enough
btw for some airdrops it doesnt need KYC, KYC is only needed to increase WD limit

It was really a pain when cryptopia got hacked, I was almost left 50% of total balance. Thanks for sharing, would appreciate to have a details of KCS airdrop, I think it's available of Kucoin but I can't find it. If you have the link, please don't bother sharing.

The good part is that by offering these rewards, they prevent you from selling the currency, which is a dump protection, which makes it more valuable.

I have KCS staked in kucoin exchange and i earn every day some kcs,more you stake more you get.and the minimum to stake is if i remember 6 kcs and the coin value now is 1.45$

it's not real staking but just hold it in your wallet on the exchange,and you can sell it when you want 

other coin to stake is TRX ONG and more

I am not very clear about your hacked 50% of the property. is it hacking on the floor or hacking coins, and you have a solution for how to say it so people can avoid it

Thanks for The tip mate! I have used Kucoin before but didn't know about that feature. I would stake probably a small portion as it is not safe to have your tokens on an exchange. Even so, if you are willing to leave your coins on an exchange, my advise is to go for Bitfinex which offers you the lending system that I believe it is a lot more safe

Staking on Kucoin's wallet ? If that is the case I don't think I will allow that, it's to risky to keep your coins in your exchange wallet, we have read so many hacking on exchanges and I don't think it will attract new investors.

Yes I heard about Kucoin Soft Staking.  I agree with you that if we put our capital in a wallet on a system like this, there are benefits, we also have risks, sometimes the volume goes down, so the risk increases.
