Binance has two sides centralized and decentralized platforms but the decentralize platform has some limits that is why people joins the decentralized platform.

At the moment, it's very difficult to find an exchange that doesn't require KYC. I am using LocalBitcoin, Remitano, KuCoin, all 3 exchanges are asking users to do KYC. I think you should show your friends the advantages and ease of Yobit as well, at least not facing high risk on less famous exchanges.

Kyc is not for security, there are many exchanges that demanded for kyc and yet was hacked, while there are many that did not demand for kyc and not hacked. Kyc is just to know the identity of their customers while can lead to data breaches.

I do not see any point of passing kyc than the government policies that force the exchanges to make kyc mandatory on their platform. That is why you will see countries where kyc is not mandated by their governments, you will see their exchanges not making it mandatory or not even supoorting it. It is just ways of governments to strip people of privacy.
