India should legalise cryptocurrencies?

The move to block cryptocurrencies again must have been a move from the old conservatives who would like to keep tight control over the country's previous status quo. But as the global pandemic has shown, people can be willing to accept change. So now that a significant portion of their citizenry realize that crypto has its uses that older institutions can't easily deliver, then attempts to ban cryptocurrencies may prove to be harder than before.

 

Should there be such news where crypto is once again banned by the Indian government, I think it would be better to open up a new topic about it. Posting updates here may not get as much attention.
