India should legalize & regulate cryptocurrency as recently there prime minister modi has said that they will encourage blockchain technology. Also Reserve bank of india will start its own cryptocurrencies.

Recently we here that mr.mukesh ambani is going to launch the new cryptocurrency and also me.narendra mobi will thinking about that to launch a new ''laxmi "coin ....and i think indian people do not take much time to understand how to use cryptocurrency...

I think all countries around the world should legalize and regulate Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. People should have the freedom to take control of their own money if they want to.

I see no reason not to legalize cryptocurrency with bitcoins in India. Blockchain China agreed on why India cannot accept blockchain and bitcoin.

May be in future india is legalise the crypto currency but now they ban it but so many peoples will use it in india and they also make trades with this and also they mine the crypto coins. Crypto is the best currency and one day all the world will allow it.

Yea I also heard that prime minister Modi , tweeted that they will start using blockchain technology & explore the use of blockchain. But about regulations of cryptocurreny will take some time as the case is being heared in supreme court & it will give the final decision on crypto ban or crypto legalization.

If they would create their own cryptocurrency, much like what China has been doing, people might shift their attention to their own government cryptocurrency, which is somehow good and bad. It's good for continuous adoption, but bad since Bitcoin's market would be reduced.

As long as something is worth a lot of value, it can be used for a ton of criminal activities, whether gold, fiat, or crypto. There are a few threads here where these are discussed in detail.

Yes, there is a difference between a political leader who just talks, and a finally passed law that will legalize cryptocurrencies in that country. Kudos to the crypto-owning citizens there, once the legalization is finalized.

So cryptocurrencies there will be legalized, but there are strings attached? At least it's better than not legalized at all.

That is the sad truth. Why is it that cryptocurrencies are banned due to its use for criminal activities when there are other mediums of exchange that are used just the same? If this is the sole reason the Indian government has for banning cryptocurrencies then they should stop being so stubborn about it. (There are other reasons for the banning of course.) Or they should just ban the other fiat currencies they are using as well.

Blockchain technology is expanding rapidly and attracting new users frequently. Its the dire need of the dearth that developing countries should support and encourage blockchain developers for the betterment of this technology and their peoples for future purposes. Because blockchain is providing a way of earning for many many peoples and as a result unemployment and poverty index is decreasing.
