10,000 members, really?

This forum has now 10,000+ members.

What do you think how many out of 10,000 are real members and how many are bots and duplicate accounts?

I think only about 6,000 are real members. Rest are bots and duplicate accounts.

Yesterday I saw a very obvious multiaccount, I think this guy managed to have 7-9 accounts, all with similar alias, made the same day/hour, similar profile pics, and of course similar posts. And with many rep+ points given to each other. I think multiaccounts should be deleted, their posts deleted, so we (real users) don't waste our precious time watching their nonsense shitpost.

Well, even though it doesn't look like all of them are real members I am happy that cryptotalk has reached 10,000 Members in a relatively fast time (1 Month +) Next milestone reaches at least 20,000 Members and I feel that it will become a big forum that competes with bitcoingarden and bitcointalk, Keep up the good work cryptotalk team.

I agree with you, unfortunately duplicate accounts will exist, even if a house has more than two members, and everyone participates in the forum which I think we can not consider duplicate, we know that there are several duplicate accounts, but we can only congratulate the In particular, the adms forum's commitment to maintain a standard, not to mention that the post award as I see it was quite an incentive to the members, because talking about encryption in a specific forum and still winning, that's a good thing, but I I believe there are yes, some 70% of true accounts which is a milestone without a doubt, one thing I'm sure my friend, I'm a "true" member, this I'm sure !!

If anyone has this case (two or more family members in the same household with one forum account each), I think they must declare it to the admins to avoid any ban. BUT some people will cry "omg I'm not a multi, the other acc is my brother's" bla bla, but if you pay close attention and check account details, you'll see many coincidences ranging from IP to emails (I've worked as moderator before so I know how is to detect multis). Admins have to maintain their point and not to bend their words in cases like that, cheater will say and promise anything in order to avoid losing their accounts.

But when it comes to a question that, how many real users are in here? It's a little bit contradictory. But i would say, there about 6000-7000 id are real and the rest are bot and multi id. Moderators are always trying to protect them. But all multi IDs cannot be identified. For instance, user A has 2 devices. One is laptop and another one is smart phone. He use laptop over wifi or broadband connection and packet data in smartphone. Their IP addresses would be different. A uses 2 account from 2 IP. What does it means? One user 2 account. Moderators cannot banned them lack of proof. That's the problem. That's how multiple accounts are increasing strategically for getting rewards only.

I agree with you, so much so that here in my house there are two more members of my family who use the internet, my two children, and I for security reasons I chose to have no account here in the forum, precisely to avoid this kind of confusion, but if I could tell the adms for sure I would do before one of them do it, but I agree, unfortunately there are people who use this trick to cheat, and it ends up harming who is really honest, but this in the future who knows the adm can not solve .

Don't forget about VPN services, actually one user can have much more accounts with different IPs than amount of devices he has.

In this case moderators can view profiles which they doubt on. If any user found using innumerable ip addresses than he should be warned or banned immediately permanently. 

Am i right?

These accounts are hard to get because the different IPs in each of them. But there are other kind of coincidences that can be taken in consideration to catch the cheater. And these guys will always make a mistake to they finally get caught one way or another.

Everyone is happy about the achievements of cryptotalk.Now that we reaches 10,000 members for just 2 months I guess then there's a big possibility that we will see the success in less time.When more people earn from the campaign I think we can get high volume of users everyday.Thats awesome.

I do not agree with this because the normal thing for many internet service providers is to asign a dynamic IP, so normally you'll have one IP now, and some hours later you'll have another one. So if that's a motive for ban, even the admins will get banned lol.

This is very good news that the community is growing. As for bots and multi-accounts, I don’t think there are so many of them, since Admins constantly monitor this, even if accounts do not catch a ban at the registration stage, they will definitely get a ban when their payments will be under checking.

Have you ever thought about what will happen when it ends? Yes, cryptotalk can reach about 50k members, but majority of them will leave forum when its payments will end.

Spammers are a realy big problem at the time. Although the 10.000 members is a big achievement, the total of real members will be lower. 

In the end I think this will pass over time, because nowadays, Yobit only allows one account per person. Spammers easily get reported, so I think this problem will fade away in 6 months

For the fact, I don't know the truth because we cannot check all the details from every member, and we only know by taking a look at the name of every member. But if this forum has 10k members, then that will good although there is many multi-account that have been created. Still, 10k is not a small number. I think that is what happens in many forums, and we cannot reject it because people will search for a way to make money. 
But maybe we can report them to the staff so they can do something if they break the rules, so they don't do that again in the future. I think this will never be ending the story as we will see that in the future, many multi-account will be created.

it doesn't feel like there are already many members in this forum, it is normal that we doubt the authenticity of members, many people here make many accounts to get pay per post, this is unfortunate.  IP restrictions may be a way out, although scamer has many ways, at least can reduce

Unfortunately, that's a number we don't know yet, even the forum administrators don't know that number either, I believe.

A real approximate would be the SEO statistics of unique visitors to the website, although to see it we will have to wait.
