I will not consider Crypto as a gift because it takes a person to have a knowledge about crypto and takes a lot of responsibility to adopt it. I don't want my money to get wasted to a wrong gift in Christmas.

Cryptocurrency is not going to be only send as a gift on this Christmas but it is going to take over other gifts related things in the future at least people buy gifts through cryptocurrency. Because world is changing and everybody is adopting cryptocurrency and leaving traditional currencies

This will be good as a gift by friends and relatives if they are using cryptocurrency, my relatives didn't know whats crypto is but my friends are familiarized with crypto so that we can give some gifts our friends some crypto.

So far I haven't thought about giving or getting a cryptocurrency gift for Christmas. I give more gifts as you wish or items that can at least be useful and used. Maybe the idea you are conveying is interesting, but it's not suitable because I'm sure cryptocurrency is currency, so it's the same as giving money.

yea thats exactly have been my point, because nobody will understand a gift like crypto and you would have to sit down and explain it..that just take the spirit of the gift away lol

My friends are using Bitcoins, i prefer to buy Crypto to give them as a gift i think they will be happy for my gift to them because Cryptocurrency is profitable, When I'm a student Bitcoins is a big help for me it comes to financially aspects, I can buy my school supplies with my own money through Bitcoins. At present time the market is very much fluctuating and also the Christmas is near. I hope that this is the time to buy bitcoin as a Christmas gift. The price will go high and high  in 2020. So it will be difficult to buy a btc then. If you want to buy this is the time. You can go for it.

well it wouldn't be a great gift if you have to sit down and explain it to everyone now would it? i think it could only be a gift if someone actually is interested in crypto but if not then regular gifts are fine.
