Can we teach about Crypto in school and university?

Although there are universities offering blockchain courses, these courses are not even talking about Bitcoin or other major cryptocurrencies. They actually avoid it and this is because of the speculative nature of these coins. It was selected not to talk about Bitcoin by academics and governments.

I think that cryptocurrencies should be talked together with the subject of money in shools and universities as well as the dangers of the online world. Otherwise noone will be informed and people will keep losing their money in scams.

As I know about crypto there are many things that we have to teach beginners. But many countries announced crypto as illegal. We can provide education of crypto on the countries who already approve crypto.

It is totally possible to teach cryptocurrency in schools and universities because I think that it will give so much people opportunity in life that they might take a new job after their study and not only that because if they can use their knowledge they can earn and save up money

Sadly schools and even universities do not teach how to save money, find opportunities or even avoid scams. Schools are 90% useless lessons that have in common one thing, how to be a tool to replace the other tools. Noone actually gives a shit about making people financially intelligent. The ones in power in fact want the opposite. To have citizens that can't think. The system doesn't like intelligent people, unless it has spots ready in major corporations to absorb them. Otherwise they treat intelligence as a threat.

Today the education about cryptocurrency has not been yet focused since I'm in engineering department i'm not sure in other business courses are being tackled about cryptocurrency maybe there are discussions in other schools but rare. also in our engineering economics classes cryptocurrency is being discussed but only as kind of currency.

It will be great if they can adapt cryptocurrency into a scholar course because people that want to earn and work while studying will gonna have more options in which courses they can take in order for them to earn while studying and after they study then they can have full time jobs

Of course we can, I think it was a great progress! But the fact is that in many countries, cryptocurrency is prohibited, and the education system is as old as possible! Many schools don't even teach programming, and cryptocurrency is out of the question, lol!

For me i see it is good to teach crypto currencies in schools and universities because there are many people they were just living without any job and crypto helped them out.

I think that in the future, crypto and blockchain will be taught in universities after the number of cryptocurrency users in the world increases, and thus specialists in the field of cryptography who will teach encryption to children in schools

If the government allows, the education system needs to be built, why not!  Schools are the best place to learn about cryptocurrency because it has young people.  The school will bring in some talents that Bitcoin World is not teaching, who can do better in this field.

I think so, as early as possible they need to realized the importance of decentralized system and the potential of it especially in terms of security because when I was on high school I don't have any idea about Bitcoin that time so when its price skyrocketed on 2017 I felt the regret that why I didn't know it early. So I think it would a huge helps to the youth, the good thing is some online learning sites like udemy already offers a blockchain course.

I think that kids are tought about money in school. Cryptocurrencies should have an hour of their own to teach the kids how these work and how the changes will affect everyone when we switch to digital payments and abandon paper currencies.

I agree with that opinion mate because nowadays the youth are already into internet as matter of fact their life has roled by those online games and if cryptocurrency would be taught in school or in a universities there's already a room for change and they would become aware of the current trends that they can earn crypto coins rather than being busy gaming without earning

In universities that teach finances cryptocurrencies should be a lesson but they hardly teach enough and it is only about the fiat money and how this works in an economy but nothing about what happens for real. Many drop university as some are teaching only the minimum and will never create good economists.

The concept of block chain technology itself is already good to be taught to all of the students. This kind of concept should be taught since we know that we are always pursuing for our freedom. That is why we really need to pursue on teaching them about the block chain technology. I would say that it is not possible for the other universities or schools to take an initiative in doing this since we are most likely to adopt the technology age where we are capable of depending more to technology rather than manpower of a real person itself. I am guessing that some schools out there might actually get to introduced it already to their students since other countries are already accepting cryptocurrency.

I think @hexwin If we want to promote it we should start from the beginning.We should start teaching them from the beginning (From School) but keeping it simple .Then at higher level take it's education to higher level.The students that will take this knowledge will pass on to others and make the way for it's progress.

It is very good idea if we teach about crypto currencies to our kids or in school because in this way the more people will gain knowledge about the crypto coins that how to earn money from crypto, so due to this the more people will enter in crypto market, and if its community will go to increase then there is no doubt that one day we will see crypto currencies in every where as a mean of payment

Very nice contribution from your side my friend @Suparna Crypto currency is too important to any given country and as such when legalize should be added in to school curriculum.

Because I personally view it as a unique skills for earning a reliable income passively without depending on your government or waiting white collar job. We can also consider it as additional source of Making Money, irrespective of levels or rank since it's passive.

This is a good idea teaching about crypto in school, colleges. Nowadays everyone has Internet access. So everyone can use cryptocurrency easily. 

Cryptocurrency is also very interesting amd a profitable field to make money. And most of people also taking intrest in it. 

So when cryptocurrency was thought in school, colleges t would be easy for everyone.

Yes, we can, but in universities where students are intellectually and psychologically aware and mature to learn about the world of cryptography, and since I work in the field of teaching, the process of teaching cryptocurrencies must be accompanied by projects on the ground in the cryptocurrency market and training from cryptologists

In my opinion, introducing and teaching crypto to children at school is not good, because education in schools must be appropriate for their ages, children's ages cannot be taught cryptocurrency. If it is taught in college, I think it can be done, because in general, people have grown up there and are ready to learn anything about cryptocurrency or the world of work.

Yes it must be. Because we know that blockchain is the future and our kids must have knowledge about that. Because it is the better way for bright future.
