Too many questions. 😁

Go on Yobit exchange and contact support on their Support page, or try on trollbox to write to moderator.

But I think (I'm not sure) that problem is that is your mistake and Yobit dont have anything with that.

You must to check well before you send coins, because I see that some people complained how they send ETH from smart contract to Yobit and that is not allowed too.

Just be careful when you send next time.

If you sent the money through a wallet, you lost your coins. Period. I'm sorry.

However, if you did through another exchange, there's a chance that the exchange will cancel the sending and you can recover your coins.

Some people often worry about this after having a blockchain wallet, especially beginners. The first step to transfer Bitcoin to a blockchain wallet is to enter your personal Bitcoin account. The next step is to click 'Send Bitcoin'.

Naturally, such transactions should be decline with the red message that your address is not a litecoin address, that as it may have happened.

Did you use a trading exchange to make the transfer or you use a standalone applications, there are different solution to the 2 problems.

I think my transaction was sent to another mysterious Litecoin address, which is wired and makes me wonder whose address is that because I entered a btc address and that Btc address is also visible on the transaction.

Not only the wrong address but the wrong crypto address, first you have to check the bitcoin address if there is an receiving, if there isn't, of course you will lose Ltc, to the best of your knowledge, crypto transactions cannot be canceled. so we must be careful.

Friend, probably these LTC will be lost, because whenever you make a deposit or transfer or withdrawal you have to check the address used to not send wrong, in many cases there is no way to recover, and the exchanges themselves issue warnings to have this care.

I think that depends on the wallet you sent from whether it was an exchange or or a wallet you should contact them and they'll return it to you with a 10% cut for their efforts. Had a similar issue in 2017 with bittrex and they returned it to me.

Unfortunately you are right, most likely there is no way to recover the LTC sent to the wrong address, so you are already advised if the transaction is made in exchange, that we must be careful with the address used, not to lose the coins So the business is always caring. You are correct in the placement.

The same problem happened to me a couple of months ago and I still don't have an answer, in the end I resected it because it was my mistake in the first place.
It's very sad but I think it's a bit of a problem.

First of all, please share where from you have sent the LTC? Is it an exchange or any other wallet?

If it's an exchange, I think you can settle it down. Contact with the support. By the way, I don't know how it's possible that LTC can be sent to BTC address and it's even displaying in the LTC explorer with confirmation.

You should contact Yobit support and explain them what happened. It was your mistake but they are the ones that can fix this. I've seen other people send litecoin to bitcoin adress and they solved the problem somehow, I don't have much knowledge so you should search on other forums about this

As I know in cryptocurrencies exchanges sites or any cryptocurrency platforms they always warn that if you send your coin to different coin address your money will be lost.

So I don't know in yobit if they will help you on that case, because in crypto no one can return the transaction if already in blockchain.

in that case in 90% on yobit or other exchange you must consider your coins are lost and not turning back. so contact support but no much hope for you 😞

if you entered BTC wallet address instead of LTC Address i don't think your LTC reach anywhere. it's like coins are lost in space ...do you contact yobit support?

They do go somewhere and you will need the private  keys of that btc Address you enter, situation like this just consider that you lost your coins.

I don't think that is possible to recover your coins even if you contacted the support team, my friend had the same problem like you but he lost them not on yobit but generally trading platforms are the same.

No, your litecoin is not totally lost because you can recover it. You need the private keys of the bitcoin adress where you sent the litecoin but since you made a deposit on an exchange this means you don't have access to the private keys. So you should talk with Yobit support to solve it

If we send it to the wallet exchanger, I think this is our fault and losing the coins we send is a risk that we bear. It can be said that it is difficult to recover a coin that has been sent because it has different blockchain

I read about it in stackexchange, and its seems it is possible to get back those coins, only if you are owner of both wallets. However I am not sure about, please read the link. hope it helps

The coin was send from Yobit.net LTC wallet to a temporary changelly exchange BTC address, and the worst part is that it was delivered on a mysterious LTC address.

I checked the transaction and it was received on a mysterious LTC address, so I believe, maybe yobit own that address, since it can not come from no where, unless it came from a hacker.

That's why you should use a good wallet for your coins, the very good wallet when you put the wrong address they show the address in red and message telling you it's wrong address,by the way i will tell your LTC coin is gone you can't refund it because it's your fault.sorry about that
