I know Bitcoin.com is a scam, I hate this scam, I think a lot of people have been scammed and lost money there. really bad. Stay away from it and advise everyone to stay away from it

This is politics inside the bitcoin community, Ver is one the the first believer of BTC but somehow something happen in his head, maybe one day banged on the wall and thought its good to fork. 

 

I didn't the reasons actually but its very lucrative to fork because its free money so he created BCH and are supported by his very own followers who are eager to mine the BCH as well. And as if BCH isn't enough. There is also BSV and we all know the impostor CW who also introduces BSV to be the real BTC,

The official website of Bitcoin is bitcoin.org because is who inform about Bitcoin with trustable content. About the propagation of Bitcoin is bitcoin.com who use this option by run with non-technical  and highly-manipulated.

Bitcoin.org is the primary Bitcoin website and you can find this Bitcoin white paper when you view it. As for Bitcoin.com, I do not have much information about it.

Bitcoin .org is an officialsite and bitcoin.com is not. That's the main difference between them. And also the ideas and the features are also given in the post. And these two websites are actually good but the official one is quite dependable. Sometimes we have confusion about btc but it gets cleared through this website.  So both are quite amazing.

Many people have been misunderstanding about bitcoin because of this site "bitcoin. com" its real not the official site for bitcoin, but they promote it like the bitcoin official site. The official bitcoin site has the domain of .org and not .com!

It really isn't a scam, but is only misleading new people that want to search for Bitcoin with the domain. The site works well as a mining pool and you can use it to buy Bitcoin, however it's designed to get a lot of people to rather get involved in BCH and buy it instead of Bitcoin, since Roger Ver is suppoting BCH a lot. It can be considered misleading, but the site itself is no a scam.

I didn't think that these are officially website , I never visits or purchase any Crypto currency through their , try to avoid them . you can freely purchase Bitcoin or bitcoin cash from exchages as well from localbitcoin or paxful also .

Both are utterly different websites but some users are getting confused thinking like Bitcoin.com is the authentic and original site for Bitcoin.I have an account on Bitcoin.com and have been storing some amounts of  BTC and other assets. You can use their official android app too.

Thanks a lot for this information. I remember both websites and I visited them when I started with bitcoin, in fact Bitcoin.com was the first site I visited and I was confused a little but luckily I found this forum later and got the better idea about Bitcoin as a beginner. I used many sources and I read about Bitcoin Cash and how they were trying to push the idea they were Bitcoin earlier. This was not nice to do and I hope that Roger Ver some day will change his mind and he will always be welcome to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin.org is the website for Bitcoin, it was created by Satoshi and has this moderator that is called Cobra, which is supposed to be a Bitcoin developer too. Bitcoin.com is owned by early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver that was considered to be Bitcoin Jesus at some point but later was labeled as Judas after moving to Bitcoin Cash support and starting a war against Bitcoin.

He must name the website to bitcoin cash .com if he wants to promote bitcoin cash. Or bitcoin administration must take an action against such sites because he would be misleading the users about bitcoin

Roger Ver is exploiting Bitcoin having ownership of Bitcoin.com and the way he promoted Bitcoin Cash it made it look that it was the real Bitcoin to some new investors. I don't know if the claims some made were real but it is not any good to have Ver with Bitcoin.com.

Bitcoin.org was the first one that appeared, the bitcoin.com belongs to Roger Ver and it a way that promotes Bitcoin Cash and not Bitcoin as Ver abandoned Bitcoin years ago. 

Warning for bitcoin.com it confuses beginners and promotes Bitcoin Cash instead of the real Bitcoin.

Bitcoin.com is the bitcoin wallet thats supporting exchanging crypto, casino games, buying bitcoin and mining I think. 

But bitcoin.org is the bitcoin platform thats explains and guiding about bitcoin such as, best wallets and where to buy bitcoin.

Website owners such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and others should have more ways to distinguish between official and unofficial sites. Facebook uses the blue signal to distinguish the main page, but not all websites do this.

 i thought bitcoin.com is the official and i though bitcoin cash is the bitcoin. after joining this forum and some other forum,A lot of people have purchased BCH as thinking BTC.  They send me email to use their exchange. I think I should not use the exchange.
