From a privacy point of view if you have a BTC address with your nickname in it it makes it easier for people to identify your wallet. That is not desirable for some people, like me.

I advise you guys,do not use Bitcoin vanity address as your public address to receive Bitcoin, I mean if you use address which are starting with your own name, it would give the clue to the scammers to track your cryptocurrency related activities.

Indeed it will be a big clue, especially since most will put something that will be close to their name or something the love and cherish. Whatever the name they put it might become a target for scammers.
