Well, have to agree with you. I also moderated such a forum, and there was a lot of spam. But if to work full day it could be cleaned by just several moderators. If to work less, then yes, it needs much more staff.

And also for sure, there could be a lot of spammers will start to pop in this forum since about this contest and moderator maybe will having a hard time to check every post if they are non-constructive or spam.

It's good starting campaign to attract new users and forum's activities but I think you need to add some detail information about how to win, the rules and much more.

This is what admin said earlier, so i assume that they are not going to feed the spammer here and spam for only earning. Only people with interest in forum will get a place here and end up winning the prize at the end. Report anything if you think spam is going on.

Details are posted in topic, 10 users who make most posts till deadline will win bitcoins. I believe only rule is to make constructive posts, 100+ characters and don't spam and break forum rules, like in every other forum.

Well the idea is to make the quality posts, which are constructive, somehow they can be reported and help facilitate the work of the Mods that are at that time, it can be very annoying at first, and from what I've been reading there are People who have been long-time, with extensive experience, this is good for increasing the level of the forum.

I have been doing that since the beginning of my journey. It would be helpful for staff to clean the spam. It's not possible to read each topic and find out the spam. We everyone need to cooperate the moderators to clean up the spam and have a enjoyable & healthy discussion.

I have spotted two users who were spamming in the forum. It was visible in naked eyes.

Very nice initiative, just hope this doesn't result to users spamming the forum just to increase their post count i.e users posting irrelevant comments just to boost post count like what I was currently experiencing on one of my threads.
