Anything that requires you to put in certain amount of investment and promises returns thay are too good to be true i.e. ROI in a matter of a few days or week will most likely be a scam. Don’t fall for it.

Anything that seems you too good to be true or any other suspicion like member offering that is new and hides his information then it is surely going to be a scam.

Friend, this unfortunately happens and we are exposed to it, but to avoid it, we need to understand the differences between what is real, that you can see everything, and what is for everyone to see, and what is a lie, are those in which you you don’t have that much information and you don’t usually know who’s behind it. All care is necessary, careful friend, because these people just want to do evil.

Cryptocurrency scammers use different method to scam people of their coin. Scammers can send you an email invite you to join a new site where you can earn coin for free. They may ask you to send some coin to a particular wallet address to get double your coin.

I think for me its a little bit hard and so many times I will have to make sure that am able to understand what am doing so to me its really important to really be good in what we are doing there is a lot of work to be done then but the truth is we need to keep on following the direction we are making and putting up a good stand for every crypto we are getting into , most people can lose because they dont really understand what they are getting themselves into

At least when a proposal is far from reality with unsustainable percentages it is an indication of a scam, if something is too good to be true it usually is not.

Scam coins not moving like the real coins they make high so much fast and also they dumb so much fast and this is the real indication of the fake coin. In the crypto market now this time so many scammers that make money through just the scamming with the innocent peoples.

My way of protecting from all of these is to keep reading about them. The cryptotalk forum has helped me a lot to identify most of these scams and now I am more experienced and can easily ignore and report scammers when I meet them. Of course what is more important is we always have to question anything and make research before proceeding.

I think you just need to be good with the protocols and patterns of legitimate offer's. If you work here for a while following rules and regulations you can identify scams yourself. It's quite a experience factor which will help you .

The email that they sent to You. You must check the sender address you will be seeing something similar to the genuine address but it surely differ from a symbol or letter.By doing this you can identify the fake address.

After a while it is easy as you consider most to be scams and not ever click links from emails or websites but visit from bookmarks, use adblock and antivirus and not download software that you don't know what it does unless you have done research on them.

I protect myself by not clicking on any links I receive in email messages, and I do not install any applications except from well-known stores like Google Play ....

In general, scam sites comply with some characteristics, for example they have anonymous hosting, that is, untraceable, another peculiarity of them is that they usually offer plans where they return a high interest compared to platforms that do pay.

From my own experience, there are some criteria that are commen in different scam projects

Exagerated promotions : they always try to convince people to use their services (buy their coin/token, deposit...) to collect as much funds as possible

Unknown team : they often keep their team members anonymos in order for them to be easy to create multiple projects

No original content : because they have not a unique project to work on, they copy other's work and make it appear as it's their own

I believe that with experience you can easily distinguish scam from a normal airdrop, due to improved analytical data and the resulting set with a list of trusted and relevant airdrops

Almost airdrops are fake becasue i join that an just some coins will give us good profit in the market but the others are just give us loss so i think we need to join the bounty program and that is best for us becasue almost bounties are good and that is real than the airdrops.

Check their advertisers who are promoting the project and find news ,information regarding project. Check their website and team pics and use Google for verification .look their accounts joining dates. Because if you share all your information and money with them without verification you are just simply Lamb for a wolf.

Fraudulent website owners rely on luring investors in somewhat tempting and fanciful ways, and these sites are usually single in this way.

Currently there are many scammers using the ponzi scheme, but today we already have a lot of information on the web and people should already know about this type of system. Also it is being used a lot to write privately and send us a link so that they do not infect our system and steal our data. Take care of your capital people!

Many airdrops and faucets are scam in crypto world . The way of protecting ourselves from these scams is use always strong password with 2fa and if someone offered you to give crypto  rewards  and say give you them personal information you believe that they are scammers. Be careful because you lose your money to scammers .

The challenge is mostly for newbies. they are easily manipulated they don't even have to expose their information they are convinced to willingly send coins to scammers.

I think you should carefully consider all the links that you go to. If you notice a typo, then try to run it through an online antivirus that checks links to various scam threats.

Hackers almost hack the all exchange not they just hack a single account in the crypto market we must to safe our account from the hackers to apply the 2FA and after that secure our email and that is must.

You came up with a really good topic. It's really hard to identify the scam sites. Though you can try to find more details on YouTube about the website. Or you can see the rating and review on Google. That will give you a more clear image of the website.

It's simple i think but this is my experience, scammers Always seducing us and looking very rushed with a variety of fantastic seduction. We can do various steps such as, using malware or antivirus, this prevents the entry of malware into our PC and of course do not just open the link to open the e-mail. Install etheraddresslookup to prevent phising and the last one for spotting fake ICOs, You can visit this fake ICO presented by SEC to educate us. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3920469.180 Cheers

Thank you brother for sharing your valuable information it would be great helpful for many new members in this forum there are many scammers around us, so we need to create a awareness in the minds of members to get away from those scammers.
