Ratings don't mean a guaranteed legitimacy. Bulleon for example was high rated but still turned out to be a scam. Ico runners are clever nowadays so be careful.

Very good statement mate! I really agree with you, today some ICO Ranking sites just giving fake rating because they get payed as you said, There are so many example that project have a good rating but turn out to be scam, The best way to seek good ICO Was doing own research and discuss with other people on the community.

If there are projects that get good grades or reviews on the ICO ranking site. Then don't be proud and directly invest in the project. Because it is only a value, the reality is we never know whether it corresponds to a high value.

As you said it's not trusted way to see the real rate if any ico because all his rating are manipulate we take like a source if information not more

indeed that's the best way to analyze one of the projects by researching it yourself because the facts on the ground are indeed the project team that pays the ranking of the ranking site in order to get positive and good reviews with satisfactory value even though the reality is not in accordance with what is happening in the field.

I don't rating really matters anymore since last year. Because since a couple of years ago, ICOs were not doing so well. Most of them either failed to raise the funds or scammed ones. IEOs are more popular nowadays, though the hype is longer how it used to be.

if you find a project with a value of 5/5 or 10/10. Do you think it is a good project for us to invest. the answer is don't invest directly in projects that have a good rate because that's the only number that can be manipulated.

I think a good ICO that will help you review and I believe that they are worth a try. What I especially see people mentioning here is the ICO-Bench, so it seems like it's more popular in this forum.

Maximum ICO give lots of Airdrops and collect good rating for airdrops but project not so strong. That's why many project coin or token after listing any exchange price not ups according to ico price. Many project not hit his ico price and many people’s loss his fund for this ico.

well I don't trust ico rating website because some of them are fake.. the ICO team will pay for the perfect score in the ico rating website so I don't trust them.

There are a lot of website reviews of ICOs or ICOs rating, but it's not always correct in their reviews. Because most ICOs since the last couple years were only a scammed or failed ones. It's hard to find a successful ones.

They are almost shit ratings as most of the ratings that you can find in any rating sites can easily altered by the owner especially if the project owners will give them gifts like money to do it. 

 

Nothing can't be bought in crypto society, so I suggest that you should not base your investment decision to ratings only as you will surely end up losing your hard earned money.

That is correct. I have been working different ICO projects before and what they did was to pay many websites jut to get a trust ratings. They are also paying writers to make a good articles for them. But at the end it will still fail due to poor sales.  Everything will depend on the sales. A good ICO will still turn to scam without a good sales.

That is correct. I have been working different ICO projects before and what they did was to pay many websites jut to get a trust ratings. They are also paying writers to make a good articles for them. But at the end it will still fail due to poor sales.  Everything will depend on the sales. A good ICO will still turn to scam without a good sales.

On which website you research exactly?

Because it's important on which facts they looking when they rating some ICO.

For example if they rating just because that they have website,telegram,etc. that is not good reason for buying.

You must to research for yourself, for example does that ICO/project have potential what is the main meaning of that coin/token for what will serve for etc. Or for example if someone from the team already have some project before that one and how that project went etc.

Point is that you can't rely on ICO rating websites, you must to research by yourself.

the rating sites dont show any real ratings about any new ico or project . some times they take money form the owner and show a high rating.
