I am sure all of you heard about Binance's hack news.They stole 40m USD worth BTC from there and CZ said there could be a rollback.It means they have the ability to take the money sent.

So couldn't the Bitcoin core team take all of our money if they wanted to ?

rollbacks have historically been heavily criticised and there are only very few times in which teams got away with it without damaging the project, even when motivated by tackling thieves (ethereum is a good example of this)

rollbacks affect the immutability feature of the blockchain and if the project does not assure this point it will become worthless as cryptocurrency

You supposed to have a supporting article links for this, and I never heard such a news like this because I'm a binance users, so I doubt that it will happen anyway, and binance faced a big issues and has been resolved too in the end as well.

CZ was a dumbass for even asking for a rollback, first they would have to agree with all the miners, then the cost to attack bitcoin blockchain for 1.4 bill $, that would defeat the purpose of a BTC transactino if it can be reversed , nobody is safe..

And if they take it back, what will they do with it? It would be worthless to them because the coins won't be traded anywhere or any exchange and how are they going to spend it? And this means that our BTC wallets aren't actually ours if they have the means to do that.

I don't know how you guys come up with such weird questions because once bit coin is sent it can't be taken back by the sender and I don't think is even a possibility in crypto to do such things or else we could've seen them catching the upbit hacker of etheruem.

With this outcome, bitcoin will depreciate. There will be only supply and there will be no demand. All airdrops and distribution occur with the aim that the coin was as much as possible from more users.

I think that Satoshi Nakamato will never return all bitcoins to his wallet ever. for this he must redeem it, which is impossible to do. even if all BTC holders give away the contents of their wallets, there will still be lost wallets from which it is not possible to pick up btc.

this is impossible, this is not cryptocurrency anymore if they do that easily that taking all our cryptos with that method. If that happens I'm sure many people will no longer use cryptos.

That is not going to happen. Bitcoin is decentralized and no one can take down the network unless you are a super billionaire with crazy ambition.

I think satoshi nakamoto would not take all bitcoins back because if he would do this. Then btc will be zero and no one would get benefit from btc. So nakamoto will not do this. Because btc have value just because of demand and people will not trust btc again if nakamoto take btc back.
